In this series we visit amazing cafés and local people around Japan together with the British-born folding bicycle Brompton—a “magic carpet” for the city that comes complete with fast-folding, compact, portable practicality. In this edition, we hop on a Brompton bike and tour the three cities of Ueda, Nagano, and Matsumoto. The Japanese have a beautiful understanding of the most important things in life.

When I saw your G-line, I immediately thought if I move to Japan, that'll be my bike. In Japan, in most trains, you need to remove the front wheel and put the whole bike in a cover, which is tedious with a regular road / gravel bike. So the G-line is just the right bike.
