CF Moto 800MT Explore – Test în vederea consumului de carburant!

Hello and good to see you again! Exactly, welcome back to a new clip! Today we are at the CFMoto representative office in Arad, here on the belt, next to the new passage. And we have the special pleasure and honor to test drive this beautiful CFMoto MT800 Explore model.

And today’s test will be… predominantly about the consumption of this motorcycle at my pace, i.e. leisurely ride up to a maximum of 100km per hour, in Rain mode. But let’s not talk too much here now, let’s hit the road, we’re off to Peco to fuel him,

And after that we’ll have the whole day at our disposal. Come on! Let’s see the first start, the CFMoto logo appears nicely on the board, it makes its turn. Perfect. Let’s take it from the first one, let’s start the handles, on minimum, let’s go to medium and let’s also start the

Warm-up in the saddle, we put everything on medium. Here we need to confirm that… so. OK. Good. We’ve got a bit of congestion right here at the beginning… PECO direction, because we’re going to fill it, as I was saying today’s test is about consumption, to arrange my mirrors.

I’m only going to use it in Rain mode and it works fine. We get a low tire pressure warning. Back, I understood that I have 2.8, as if Cristi said that I have in the back.

Look, we have a Mole here, he’s in the red now, so I’ll have to fill him up now and of course on the way back, so that I can have a fair assessment. Let’s stop filming the entire filling process.

I filled it right up until it hit this pipe here… so I’d have an exact reference when I go back to fill it again, and I put 16.40 liters in the first stage. Of course, I will also see on board the consumption that it gives me electronically, compared to the mechanical consumption…

How would it be done liters x 100 divided by kilometers. Huh? Gem! Let’s do the dashboard part too… reset, let’s see here! Good, we need to go into this window Long hold on FN, so far it tells us that it has an average consumption of 5.5 L / 100km

I did 900 meters to Peco, Reset trip 1, Reset trip 2, and here it will show us everything… the time we did, how many kilometers, consumption, average speed, everything. Good, and here it will theoretically show us the instant consumption. Let’s go out here to the right.

Yes, considering that I didn’t fill it very, very much, because the tank is 19 liters, I put 16.5, clearly it would have been crowded, it shows us a range of 303 km. We keep getting that low pressure warning, Passing the CFMoto dealership again! We wave and thank them for this opportunity!

We’re going to go to the town of Şiria, Pâncota, beyond… from Arad county, We’re going to go on smaller roads like this, we’re going to walk around a bit. Good, until another time, let me go back if I can to the heated grips, we put them on medium,

Respectively the heated saddle also on medium, perfect. Here we turn right… This was the new piece of the belt, the new passage that we went over, They kept us working with it, I think about 12-15 years or something like that, I don’t want to exaggerate.

Only slowly, 4th at 60km/h, If we still have halogens we should let them go, But it’s not so bad outside now not to be seen. Although today is February 8, 2024, we have 10 degrees, 11 degrees outside,

I don’t have a thermometer set in my dashboard at the moment, but it should be somewhere around there…. And it should be a little sunnier today , but it’s 11.30-11.45 and it’s a bit cloudy, the clouds should break at about 1 o’clock. Good, let’s see at 80 kmh how it goes with 5th.

Let’s put it on cruise control, activate the cruise control! We have activated here! And we give it SET. But I would like to pass this Logan first. Just in case his brakes catch or something in front of me…. I hope I get the good sound because the side wind is blowing really hard.

It warned me that I have a car on the side, very loud! Now we have 95 km per hour, we activate… I activated it at 95 km per hour, we adjust the mirror once more, like this…

At 95 km per hour with strong wind from the front right, side… we have a consumption of 4.8 – 5L / 100km. That’s in the idea that we don’t have luggage and we don’t have crates, we don’t have anything tied on crash bars.

So it’s an average consumption, it’s not really small, but we’ll see how much we get through the whole day. The heated grips do their job well on the medium level. So is the heated saddle, also on medium.

And with the same front, right, side, strong wind, I hope you hear me that the wind is blowing very hard. In 5th at 75 km per hour, 3800 rpm, we have 4.2 – 4.4 L / 100km. But I tell you, the wind is blowing very hard.

In 5th at 83 km, here… Let’s see at 85 km/h. 4.7 – 4.8 L/100km. But break this wind, break us! As we entered the city, we are in the town of Şiria. In 4th at 58 km/h, on cruise control… We no longer have headwind, I have 3.9, 4, 3.8 L/100km. Look…

Because we’re going to use the motorcycle in a lot of these situations of going 50, 60, 70 km per hour. That’s why we want to see a consumption, look, the average consumption of the bike… well, it was brand new,

Average consumption was rated at 5.5, I did 26 km and already got it down to 5.3 L/ 100km The pressure in the wheels has stabilized because they have warmed up, we have 2.5 bars in the front, 2.6 in the back, we don’t have any errors anymore.

And the range, even though I started from Peco 27 kilometers ago with 303 kilometers, it went up to 326. And the temperature in the saddle I’m going to put it on the low side, because frankly, it burns me. The handles are perfect on medium, Anyway, this cruise control is gold,

Look! For example, we will cross many towns again. You are in 4th, beautiful at 50 and a bit km/h. You can go round at 3000 revs, 3200 RPM. You can rest your hand after going a long way, when you pass the town, it’s perfect.

And from here, from the town of Şiria, we will go up to the fortress of Şiria. We will also have a bit of a climb. Let’s see the torque a bit, 3rd at 55 km/h, at 4,000, 3,800 RPM, it climbs very lightly…

On a constant climb we have a consumption of 10 liters, 9 liters, perfectly normal, but I don’t force it… that’s what i want to check. Consumption under normal conditions, i.e. walking nicely, we don’t force it. The clouds are starting to break already…

It’s 1 o’clock, exactly as they said and this part of the weather, from 1 o’clock it brightens up a bit… Let’s see if the motorist will let us pass him, he will! How nice it feels on the curves, very well connected to the motorcycle and from the point of view of cycling

And telescopes, brakes, it feels very pleasant. Anyway, the biggest advantage of this bike is the position… I don’t know, it’s like the Chinese took my DNA and made it after it, it’s actually molded, it’s so comfortable.

And about this part of cruise control, I think that for me it will be a basic criterion when I choose a motorcycle, to have that cruise control, if you are the kind of person who drives more aggressively and you constantly like to accelerate, decelerate, overtake … it doesn’t really help you,

But I’m always looking for ways to walk as fluidly as possible, as casually as possible, without stressing, to get to admire the scenery. Why should I stick with the carrot all the time? Look like here, what’s around the corner? I do not know. But I’m going slowly.

We’re going to stop right away, to present the motorcycle in more detail, because a few months ago I also did a test drive with the CF Moto, 800 MT, but the Sport version. When I was in Cluj, at Authentic Spirit… We thank them very much!

And now, look, we have the opportunity to test the Explorer, because we want this one, If it has to be, and we manage to part with the budget, because it’s a difficult year, 2024, we have big plans. We want to arrive in Norway in one to two months.

So there, too, a budget of several thousand euros will be needed. But we would be very happy to be able to ride a new motorcycle. Here, for the uninitiated, instead of turning left towards the Şiria Citadel, we turn right, there is an

Asphalted road for several years, it connects this part of the Şiria Citadel and the Feredeu Hermitage, there is a small monastery there, for those who are passionate about such things. And it’s an exceptionally beautiful road, especially in autumn, when everything is rust here, now unfortunately it’s February, it’s a more gloomy atmosphere.

It seems to me a very decent consumption, however considering that we have constant climbs, And on constant acceleration up I don’t exceed 7-8 liters, here it is a very steep descent, you can actually feel that slope in your stomach, Here there is no engine brake don’t face it, you have to brake.

We stopped at this cute gazebo with this cool beast. Exactly, and the time has come to tell a little about her or him, the beast or her, the beast. I say it’s an he because it’s an Explore. Exact. It is the CFMoto MT 800 Explore, 800 cubic centimeters engine with 95 horsepower.

I don’t even know where to start. I want to present it to you like this with all these crazy accessories it comes with. First and foremost, I would like to say the three, four, five strong points that attract me directly. First and foremost is the motorcycle itself.

Design, convenience, everything you want in general. So I like it a lot. Then, with this money of 10,000 euros as it is now, if you also get Rabla, you subtract something from there, so it’s a very good price at the moment on the market.

You have Cruise Control, which for me is gold, so I really don’t know if I’ll be able to get used to it now after doing this tour. Then you have these tubeless rims, which not many motorcycles in this price range have, for me again it’s a….

I don’t know, a game changer, how would you say. Because doing long shifts and being away a lot on the road, in case of a breakdown, if you go out with the camera, it can almost ruin half of your vacation. Obviously, it can be solved, but it is much more difficult.

So, you have a dowel or newer, it’s those little screws, I’m going to show you right now, with silicone on them, a little screw, you actually put it back in, you screwed it in where the screw or nail was and you move on without problems.

Then all this part of complete accessorizing, for this money, comes to you from the start with: Heated grips, heated driver’s seat, crash bars, halogens, adjustable windshield that protects quite well in the wind, I don’t feel the need for higher. You have a steering telescope here to keep your riding stable, so to speak.

Very point, it comes with the crate system already, but not the complete crate system, just the grips. But it can be bought separately from them and of course the side boxes, the top case, you also have the 7 inch TFT screen,

A bunch of very useful functions, I haven’t made an account at the moment, I can’t actually get into the motorcycle app, But , any software problem can be solved by the owner in real time, like 5-10 minutes the update is done,

You solve it, if you have acceleration problems, if you have problems with the quickshifter, speaking of the quickshifter, it comes with a quickshifter, you can solve all kinds of small errors, updates and improvements, if something changes on the display, from my point of view this is very important.

Because I have heard other cases with different brands of motorcycles that are on the same system, you have to go hundreds of kilometers to a dealer to do the same thing for you, enter your app and give you an update. Then again, it comes with built-in GPS.

Again, I can’t access this feature, but I understand it’s very handy. Anytime, any time, you can see where the bike is, plus you have all these sensitivity settings. Yes? You create a perimeter for her, if someone moves her, take her out of that perimeter, start bawling, get a message on your phone.

I repeat, as long as you are a traveler and you are out around the world and you leave the motorcycle in different places overnight, I say that it is very important to have that GPS on it and to know at all times if there is someone on the motorcycle, walking to it, move.

Then what’s next? That I don’t know anymore. You have a central jack. You have the shield, a fairly thick shield, right below it, you have the side shields, these are a bit thinner, but they protect the lower part of the engine.

You have all kinds of small accessories that are very important, for example on the brake pedal, you have a very large sole here, if you are wearing boots… with anything, one, two… you don’t miss braking. Perfect.

On the creaking side, if you want comfort, you leave them as they are with this tire, if you want to do more off-road, you can simply remove them from here and benefit from those metal spikes.

In the display on board it shows you the temperature in the wheel, don’t be like Rossi from the first minutes you get on the motorcycle, you let them warm up, it shows you that you start to have 20, 25, 30 degrees in the wheel. You have the pressure.

As for the pressure, from what I’ve seen even now, it shows you a small warning right when you leave, because being very cold, the tires now being about 10-11 degrees outside, it shows you low pressure. For example, you must have 2.4 in the wheel, he shows you that you have 2.3.

The moment you set off, the wheel starts to heat up and automatically the pressure returns to 2.6-2.7 which is normal. The entire motorcycle is full LED, headlights, taillights, signals, everything, everything, everything. You have defenders on your hands.

They are not I don’t know what quality, a simple plastic, but to begin with they are perfect to protect you from the wind. You want healthier off-road, I’ll exchange them for something metallic. Generous 320mm discs up front, twin discs with J-Juan twin calipers, rear 260mm, single disc with a twin-piston caliper.

I want to correct you. Please. Only the rider’s and passenger’s saddles are missing. I said heated grips and just heating in the rider’s saddle. You said passenger, you were wrong. Did I say passenger seat? Yes. Okay, sorry, I meant the rider’s seat, but of course, at least in our case, if we

‘re going to get this model of bike… Sure, I want heat too! We’re going to do this, it’s very simple, the battery is right under the passenger seat… so you just take the seat off, pop it off like it

Would by those staples, put the heater in, you’ve got your start button somewhere, you staple it back, you also did… So it’s a very simple job. I’m running out of ideas, I don’t know what else to say because I’m trying to live the moment, we want to leave,

We still have about 3 hours, 3 and a half hours at our disposal because by 4:30 – 5:00 we have to we take it back to the dealership and honestly I want to ride this bike again because that’s the point, I want to see how it

Behaves on the road, what consumption we get out of it, don’t forget that… Today’s episode is about the near minimum consumption, i could say, of this motorcycle because we ride extremely nice.

We don’t exceed 100 km per hour, we don’t accelerate suddenly, we don’t overtake, nonsense, so we want to see the minimum consumption. Of course it’s purely informative because when you put the side boxes and

More luggage on it, it’s probably going to vary, we want to put side bags here on the crash bar as well. So probably another 300-400 milliliters to half a liter can be extra. Well, I say let’s get going, but before that I want to show you something.

And being a new bike it is full of protective film, we have the pleasure of removing them. The same with the Stop part, and if we are at the Stop part, it is a hologram, and at the moment of braking, you have the normal brake. Because we talked about the brake part.

It has a sensor in the back of, I don’t know, of obstacles, of vehicles. I even noticed on the road when we were overtaken by motorists in traffic, a warning appears on your dashboard

Just like in cars, like the light appears on your mirror, this is how it appears on the left or right side of the dashboard if you are overtaking or if you are overtaken when you have a blind spot and know that it’s very practical it starts beeping, baan!

Ahh, that’s why they peed then? That’s why they squealed, yes, yes, yes! It has, I forgot, traction control, it has ABS cornering… So it has many, you have driving modes, Rain and Sport are the basic ones,

But you can go into the menu and you have All Terrain, Offroad, Offroad Plus, there it is deactivated ABS, your traction control works differently. For all these technical details you can find them anywhere on the internet. I repeat, today’s test is about comfort and… MINIMUM CONSUMPTION.

And until I forget, because obviously I forgot quite a lot of information… you have breakdowns, you have clutch lever adjustment, front brake lever adjustment. The telescopes, both front and rear are giftable. Comes from the factory with some Michelin Anakee Adventure tires. Dimensions 110-80-19 on the front, respectively 150-70-17 on the back.

So the motorcycle comes equipped as a Touring motorcycle. Here we are again over this hill… this peak here. So far we are at 50km done today and consumption is 4.9L/100km which is not bad! Some of you probably already know that initially we would like to focus on the new Transalp, the 750,

But no matter how much we would like it, for now it is very much beyond our budget. And I would like to compare the new Transalp with the Explorer, because this one at the moment it’s 10,000 euros, almost fully equipped, you only need the boxes, everything else is there,

And the Transalp, at the moment, at 11,500 euros, comes bald, bald. In order to have it ready for a shift, casually, casually, you arrive with it somewhere at 14,000-15,000 euros. Now if I can get the Explore, maybe with a little discount, I’d be somewhere around 60-65%.

From the price of the equipped Transalp, that after all we are talking about two motorcycles that should be equipped somewhat the same for the tour. But the problem arises that when the Transalp is fully equipped, somewhere around 14,500-15,000 Euro

It still doesn’t have a cruise control option, it still doesn’t have tubeless rims, it still doesn’t have built-in and integrated GPS, you still don’t have a heated seat and probably many others. Because here, for example, the display and dashboard part is more complex, so how do I say these things about

Cruise control, tubeless rims, GPS and all the accessories already installed on the original motorcycle… it makes us tend towards the CFMoto 800 MT Explore. But it remains to be seen, anyway we don’t have a lot of time left to lose because at

The beginning of July, we are leaving for Norway and sometime in March-April at the latest I would like to know if we can afford to get our new motorcycle or not. Because I don’t even want to buy it somewhere in June, let’s say, and not get to run it in

, to accessorize it with what else I think is necessary, for example, the side boxes. CFMoto gives you an option of side boxes! They’re just relatively small. Small in the sense that if you put all your camping gear and things like that bulkier,

Laptop after you if you want to edit on the go or back up, it all takes up space. And I don’t know for sure if we would opt for them or find something else… I don’t know, something else on the market, bigger.

We also thought about the option of leaving the original side boxes, the ones that come with the motorcycle, of course, for a fee, around, I don’t know, 1,200, 1,300 euros would be all three, but I the top case in the back I would already have it from Transalp, that Givi Trekker.

58 liter, metallic, which, from my point of view, is an extraordinarily cool topcase. And then I would only take the two sides and we could put some drybags from those on top, in which to put our camping part, tent, sleeping bags, mattresses.

And then, in the boxes, actually, would go the laptop and clothes, basic stuff. I don’t know, we have to consider all the options. Unfortunately… That’s right, when you don’t have enough money, you have to calculate very well so you don’t make a mistake.

Look what a beautiful view we have from the descent from Cetatea Şiria. Now we haven’t reached the citadel because we don’t want to make a day of sightseeing out of this day of motorcycle riding. It’s exactly 2 o’clock now. We have a maximum of 3 hours left to be on the road.

So we go to spin the wheel, because we only have 50 km done and we want to do about 200 or so. Yes, now you draw the conclusion between the two models, from my point of view they are

Exceptional motorcycles, both the CFMoto and the Transalpul, only that I have reached the age where I would no longer pay only for the brand and the name, if others come strongly from behind and give you much more benefits at a much better price, then I will go for this option.

We are back on the main road. Let’s turn left and we’ll go to Valea Mureșului, we’ll see how much… Let’s go back to fuel consumption because that’s what this episode is about, at the moment after 55 km I have fuel consumption of 4.9 L/100km,

I’ve reduced the overall fuel consumption of the motorcycle by at 5.5 to 5.1 l/100km. Now I’m in town, in 4th gear at 3100 RPM, 58km/h. I have a consumption of 4.5 L/100km. I repeat, when you put side boxes, luggage… Automatic is a bit more

Because it increases wind resistance. But considering that the current 650cc Transalp Packed like this with luggage, boxes, bags on the crash bar, going up to 90 km per hour, no acceleration, no jerks, I can’t get it below 5.2-5.4L /100km… about there.

If this bike will fit with everything with luggage and everything in the same consumption, I say that’s good, though. 800cc, 95 HP engine, even if you don’t use them, they are there to act anytime. I think that at the end of the day the consumption test will be a positive one.

Good, we are on the main road, on the Mureșului Valley, where we will also have a few trucks. And we take it in the direction of Deva, we will go, theoretically, I think, to the town of Conop, where we will pass Mureș

And come, as I call it, through the back, on the small road, where I don’t want to have traffic. Did you see how the sensor did it again? I overtook the car and it was in the blind spot.

So far the shifter, I can say, for the best, I haven’t encountered any problems, I haven’t used the quickshifter much, I tried it 2-3 times, it feels like a little jerk, like that, I don’t know, I tried it at 4,000 laps to change.

Coming back to our consumption, we already have 74 km done since we refueled, 4.8% consumption so far and I want to remind you, the on-board computer when we left said 303 km that we can still do… Me after 74 km ?

He tells me that I can still do 360km, so it confirms to me, when you are driving well, the consumption is good. I have a small concern, the engine brake, from my point of view, is very big, that’s right, it’s aggressive.

From what I remember, with the Sport version, when I tested it in Cluj, it didn’t fall so hard in the muzzle. So even if I have, look, I’m in 6th and going, like, 90 km an hour, not even 4,000 RPM.. The moment I let go, it has an aggressive engine brake.

If there are CFMoto owners watching this clip, do you know if there is a software fix for this? Give it an engine brake as smooth as possible? I know some bikes have this setting. For example the 750 TransALP I know it is specified that you have 2 or 3 power settings

Like on a scooter: minimum, medium and hard. That’s about the only thing I can notice so far, that it seems a bit aggressive. I understand it has a KTM engine on it and it has a more aggressive gene, but I would like that if I could set it as smooth as possible.

For the rest, the score is 10, so that’s comfortable. Right now we decided not to stop, not to get off, to go around the county to see… to stay on it for an hour, an hour and a half, to see how we feel. Position, legs, hands, incredibly comfortable.

The windshield, to my surprise, protects well from everything. Yasmina in the back, she said she feels a bit in the helmet, but really she is further behind me, taller. But you can find aftermarket, around 100 euros, a slightly wider and higher version, in case of need. But for me personally, it’s perfect.

This original, raised to the maximum, satisfies me. I forgot from the enormous list of accessories and the crazy things that this motorcycle has, I forgot to tell you about the two USBs that are on the left side and the 12V socket that is on the right side. I positioned myself behind a truck.

With 77-80 km per hour in 5th and I have a consumption of 4L – 3.8L / 100km because the wind resistance is very low. The cruise control is set to 80, I have a consumption of 3.9 – 3.8 -3.7, good, and the road is a bit like this…

In the end, it’s a real-life consumption, because the moment you choose to go on these small roads, you catch traffic, you catch TIRs, of course at some point overtaking will have to be done, but it’s consumption from real life. We arrived in the town of Conop, where we will cross a bridge.

We have to go down. Down here. We’re going to follow the route under the bridge here. Just don’t get too muddy because I don’t want to get the bike dirty now, if not, go very slowly just enough to get on the wheels. Forget the bridge. We have 100 km fixed since we refueled.

The on-board computer tells us a consumption of 4.6 liters per hundred kilometers. Yes, I admit it, I go to consumption, I go extremely well. Because that’s what I want to see, what is the minimum consumption that can be removed Look how cool this podlet is Here we turn left…

Let’s clean the wheels a bit, if we messed them up… Look who got out! The sun, Sorinel, welcome to our street! But we will immediately enter the forest, where we have shade. We are on these more country roads, a little bumpier, the motorcycle behaves, I say, ok,

It’s a little stiffer than the Transalp, So probably who knows how the front and rear telescope can be adjusted, made a little softer for taste my, they clearly come as standard, now maybe it also matters that we are without luggage,

When you are packed all the time the motorcycle feels like a boat somehow, but I think it takes them enough well these bumps, they are classic roads, which you can catch in any country, usually the

Smaller roads can have bumps, they are not potholes, there is nothing here, but it is still in waves, it is still patchy over the patch. We’re back in Arad, in the city, and it’s already 4:10, so we have to move, but I want to make a small

Detour on the bypass of Arad in highway mode and drive the wheel on the belt, I’m going to ride it like the whole city came, all of Arad, from one end to the other, so far we are at 4.5 L/100km consumption, we did 160 km,

We didn’t go very far because we left quite late, after 11 , we stopped for stories, we stopped to eat something because we were hungry, and we said that we are going back, we don’t do very, very many

Kilometers, but it’s good that the weather has recovered, we have full sun, I think we have about 15 degrees, I still haven’t found in the settings where the temperature is displayed, But it sure is. So, 160 km driven, consumption of 4.5 L/100km

Let’s see what the mechanical version will tell us, as the calculation would be, before I hand it over, I’ll go fill it up again and we’ll do a simple calculation, how many liters enter x 100 divided by km and gives us the consumption. Anyway, today… was a pretty windy day.

It also showed the wind somewhere at 24km/h on the weather forecast. It also has some influence, especially since I almost always caught him from the front, I don’t know how we oriented ourselves.

Here we turn right, that we take it as if it were coming towards Nădlac and we will go all the way to the end. On the Arad Ring Road in highway mode, however, it drives at a maximum of 100 km per hour, and that’s how much I have to set the cruise control.

At 100km per hour… Come on, the BMW is pushing me from behind We have a bit of a climb here. We have the passage over Mureș. The idea is that it’s comfortable, the wind blows! So it turns my head

In every direction! But not from here! Here it protects me, I might say, perfectly And I’m really surprised that it’s so well thought out. Again, this bike was made with riders in mind. It wasn’t made by a nene who had nothing

To do and said, let’s put a 10cm windshield to be a plastic put there. Everything is thought out! The problem is with the crosswind. It’s a windy day, as I said. Wind from here, front left. It breaks you! Anyway. Very very decent consumption. I declare myself satisfied. Yes, he saw the bus, see?

Let’s not miss it, actually I have to go ahead here, to the right it goes towards Nădlac, but we don’t want to go there, we want to leave the Arad belt and now we go ahead,

After which we take the classic belt . And again we go to the end of it to the new passage, to hand over the motorcycle. I chose the city route in the end, because there were a lot of trucks on the belt, but what do you see?

At the entrance, in Arad, we have a barrier. No wonder it’s 4:24! We arrive at 4:45. We are back with him. The range also changed here because I also stopped it and came to that part of the highway a bit and

The wind blew and I came with 100km/h. Consumption was approximately 5.5L there. So we have done 177 km, and the range shows us another 163 km, so I still overcame them as much as I could in the morning. In the morning it gave me 303km, so it gives me almost

340km there… at least we do a bit of the city with it. Anyway, I find that sensor very practical. When you have a car on the left or on the right, it just turns yellow, if your signal is on

And you have a car next to you, then it turns red and beeps, look, so now I have the car next to me, immediately… yellow, but he didn’t say anything, if I signaled, he already left for the parking lot, then he would have made a noise.

I still think this thing with the acceleration, this thing with the engine brake, I’ve heard about this from two other people, so most likely it can be solved with a software update. I personally think it’s very brutal, you pull a bit, forget it! It seems like such a jerk and I’m

In Rain mode, I’m not in Sport mode. See, if I signal that I want to enter the lane and I have a car, it beeps. I returned to MOL. We’re going to the same pump… Let me fill it up and I’ll let you know when it’s done, I barely have any battery left.

So we did 185 km and of course we put back up to that pipe there, we put 8.64 liters, so we do 8.64 liters x 100, 8.64 x 100 = 864 divided by kilometers, to 185 and it gives us 4 ,6 L/100km. And he gives us so much here: 4.5, 4.6.

The computer looks good. We put it inside the store so others can come and admire it. Yes, we are back, the CF Moto representative office in Arad. I parked the Explore back in the shop in its place so it can continue to be admired.

As a final, as a small summary, we declare ourselves satisfied, the test passed brilliantly, in the sense that I wanted to see, can I get consumption below 5, yes, I got 4.6, I traveled 185 kilometers, in – true, we did well, we wanted to get good consumption.

But I also went at 70-80km/h, I also went at 100km/h, I also went at 20-30km/h per hour, I passed villages, towns, very, very ok. Obviously, you put crates, you put weight, probably still a maximum of half a liter, so it drives like the estates 4.5 – 4.7 L/100km,

Normal driving, man, with accelerations, with overtaking, I say it’s somewhere around 5.5 – 5.3L maximum, and when you open the gas and pass speeds of 120 -130km/h, as I understood from others, it can reach 6.5 – 6.8L/100km,

But it’s somehow normal because it’s 95 HP, 800 engine, when you give it, it has a source. I repeat, we declare ourselves satisfied, we see what the future holds for us, we are satisfied.

Other than that little, I don’t know what to call it, lag, that little jerk on the accelerator, which I think is fixed in software, because I’ve heard from others that they had that little problem and it was fixed.

Something else, absolutely nothing, I didn’t feel there was anything wrong or anything, I don’t know, annoying, disturbing, it’s super comfortable, the handles do… Grade 10, heated hands, heat in the saddle, luxury. I had to keep it on minimum, on medium I was already burning.

Cruise control scores 10, so I don’t know what I’m going to do, but 80% of choosing a motorcycle is to have cruise control. For me it is extremely important. Yes, we won’t bore you anymore because a long episode came out anyway.

Any clarifications you have, please leave a comment if you are a CFMoto owner, basically the Explore model. Please correct me if I’ve done something wrong, if you come with additions, with advice. See you in the next episode. Tea! Don’t forget to buy me a coffee.

Me, you don’t calm down with your coffee here either? Get him a coffee, it’s from one euro upwards. A coffee for the trip from Norway. I prepare ahead of time. And I’m not telling you anymore #OneEuroChallengeForTheNewTransalp, For The New Motorbike… #OneEuroChallengeForTheNewMotorbike Exactly, we don’t know what it will be! Tea!

  4. 40 years traveling by motorcycle, 32 countries. 2002 Honda Transalp XL650v in Germany, I take 2-3 month European tour on every summer. 2012 Suzuki Vstrom DL650ABS in USA. I and girlfriend travel on Vstrom650 very comfortably. If you like Vtwin of Transalp you should like vtwin of Vstrom650! Vstrom650 just more road friendly with 19 front, 17 rear, more power and updated electronics from Transalp. But still VERY MUCH proven reliability!! You should easily be able to find fully outfitted, low mileage, well cared Vstrom650 below price of new CF or Transalp. Best wishes in your motorcycle searches and keep traveling!!!
