4인 가족 치앙마이 한 달 살기🇹🇭 , 도이수텝 야간 투어, 올드타운🚕, 먼데이 파머스 마켓🍊🥬, 먹고 즐기는 치앙마이 일상🥭🎂

Today, after making and eating a simple ham and cheese toast, I received a notice informing me that there would be noise for a few days due to construction inside the hotel. I hope this does not interfere with my husband’s work-from-home environment.

Now that I’m thinking about it, shall we take a quick room tour? Our accommodation is room 501 of the Nivas Chiang Mai Hotel, which has two rooms, a living room and a kitchen. This is a room with single beds side by side, and each room has a large closet and desk.

Another room has a king bed, making it perfect for a family of four. There are two bathrooms, but they are separate from the shower area, so they are convenient to use. Each window has a good insect screen, and the tilt windows make it easy to ventilate.

I’d like to show you other spaces, but since they’re so disorganized, the room tour ends here! haha For lunch today, I went to a place in the same alley as the hotel I ate at last week. This guy’s cooking skills are quite good.

Since we weren’t sure about the name of the restaurant, we decided to call it Uncle Man’s Restaurant. After eating, I returned to my accommodation and rested for a while, and I saw a place in the scenery beyond the window that aroused my curiosity. That’s the Farmer’s Market that only opens every Monday!

I quickly came back with my second child. They sell a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. Since this is mainly a place where locals shop, it felt even cheaper. I really enjoyed being able to see a variety of food ingredients here.

There are fresh bananas that look like they will need a lot of time to ripen, and there are also steamed buns that resemble Korean buns. I don’t know where this fish was caught… It’s alive with its mouth open! My second child’s taste is that even the fish are cute…

Mom says these vegetables look prettier than the fish… There are a lot of vegetables I want to buy here and there, but they are difficult to cook, so I am suppressing the desire to buy them…

Among the Thai tangerines, the outer ones are the best. Why are those shiny things like that? Is it waxed? First, I will purchase 1kg of the non-smooth ones. And my husband, who loves snacks, couldn’t pass up the fried toast. Just looking at it makes you gain weight…!

Today, I only bought tangerines (35 THB) and cherry tomatoes (20 THB), and both were very delicious. I’m taking a taxi and going up a winding mountain road. (The young driver played K-pop in a smart way.) I

‘m on my way to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, and there’s a 1-hour wait round-trip for 600THB. A great person who climbs hills on a bicycle! I pass the dog hanging out in the heat and go up the stairs. There are 306 stairs, but climbing them wasn’t as difficult as I thought.

The back of my eldest child who doesn’t want to climb the stairs… haha. Foreigners must purchase a ticket to enter. (30THB) There is no separate fare for children, so I bought a total of 4 tickets. To visit the temple, you must take off your shoes.

The golden stupa Chedi and Buddha statues are very gorgeous. I feel more pious because I see people praying everywhere. It is said that the Buddha’s shoulder blade relic brought from Sukhothai in the 14th century was broken into two pieces, one of which was placed at Wat Suwan Dok and the

Other was placed here at Doi Suthep. The golden structure surrounding the chedi was probably installed for repairs. Unlike my eldest daughter, who doesn’t seem to be particularly interested, my second daughter is busy taking pictures. A serious look at the second child taking a video of the Golden Buddha.

Built in 1383, Wat Phra That is famous for making wishes come true. Maybe that’s why there were many foreigners like my family who came for sightseeing, but there were also many Koreans who came to pray. The sun is setting and it is getting darker.

The reason why Chedi, a splendid golden pagoda boasting a size of 24 meters, has become even more famous among tourists is because after sunset, when the lights that illuminate the Chedi are turned on, you can see the pagoda glowing golden!

Doi Suthep, located at the top of the mountain, is a great place to watch the sunrise in the early morning, and many people take night tours to see the golden pagoda shining golden after sunset. The sound of chanting Buddhist sutras echoes throughout the temple.

Even though I was just standing quietly, it was a moment full of religious weight. On the way down after finishing all the sightseeing, I ran into an obese dog again and it seemed to be more gentle, perhaps because it lived below the temple.

However, you must be careful because there are many vicious dogs wandering around without owners in Chiang Mai. I forgot to see the night view of the city from Doi Suthep while taking a taxi down there. I went to Steak Bar near Chiang Mai University night market for dinner.

This is a place where you can eat steak at an affordable price (5,000 to 8,000 won). The garnishes carefully prepared for the salmon steak my second child ordered are extraordinary, aren’t they? My husband and I ordered pork steak. It seems like the chef here is serious about plating!!! I have to buy

The chicken steak drink my eldest daughter ordered from a nearby 7-Eleven (it’s in front of the university, so they don’t sell alcohol anywhere). I cook egg toast for the kids for breakfast, and then I go down to the gym to work out in the morning.

After working out, it’s time for my husband’s lunch! Today, while exercising, I took some time to pre-order food through Grab. If you leave a message asking them to leave it on the table in front of the lobby, they will leave it there quietly.

I registered the Travel Wallet with my payment card and found it convenient. If you sign up for Grab Food Unlimited, you can use it for free for 3 months, saving on delivery costs. So the lunch menu I ordered today is chicken rice!

I ordered chicken rice at a famous chicken rice restaurant in Nimman Haemin. (Koi Chicken Rice) On a lazy afternoon, my second child tries playing in the water again today. The water is so cold that it’s not easy to get into the swimming pool…

My older child has a bit of a cold, so I can’t swim and just watch. The weather in Chiang Mai in January is so cool that it is difficult to enjoy swimming all day. The second child, who fell into the pool water alone, is playing and enduring the cold. Maybe it was because I was bored while playing alone, but I quickly gave up…hahaha. Today, we just rolled around in our room without any plans,

Bickering and fighting on our day off, but since we are sisters, I’m glad we had a good time together. Children playing with sleeping masks bought at the Sunday Market last weekend Although there was a notice of construction inside the hotel, it was quite noisy.

My husband, who went out to exercise at Ang Kaew Reservoir, decided to meet at the night market and have dinner. There are no separate sidewalks in Chiang Mai, so there are many narrow and unstable roads, but once you get to the main road, it’s okay.

Now, we are used to choosing the menu we want and eating… (the kids mainly eat fried rice). After dinner, we go straight to the night market to explore the food. It’s a lot of fun to look around because they sell a variety of food.

I see a sweet Thai snack that my husband was very curious about and bought and tried. My husband, who likes dumplings, quickly bought something similar to dim sum and decided to buy more to try a new flavor at the sausage shop where he bought it the day he arrived in Chiang Mai.

For reference, sausages (saiwoo) from northern Thailand are characterized by a very strong and salty taste. It is made by adding various spices to pork and red curry paste. My choices were cut pineapple, mango, and papaya.

I wasn’t satisfied with the small amount of fruit, so I stopped by a fruit store a little further away. This fruit store seemed to be the only place where I could buy a variety of fruits. 1 kg of amazingly delicious pineapple costs 45 THB, and they even do all the peeling for you.

I also stop by Lotus right next door and buy some bottled water and beer before heading back to the hotel. I felt reassured and happy after buying 2kg (120THB) of mangoes.

Although they are not in season and are not fresh, I am thankful that I can buy such fresh mangoes at a low price. Ending the day with fresh fruit and late-night snacks…❤️ (whispering) The dim sum and sausage were not good.

I woke up at 7 and went to the gym, and the sun was already shining. There are many large trees around, so the sound of birds chirping every morning is truly peaceful. I can still hear construction noise inside the hotel. Hahaha.

The food I ordered through Grab for lunch has arrived in front of the lobby. Today’s menu is radish! The radish radish, which tastes similar to pork ribs, was delicious when eaten with sticky rice for lunch, along with kimchi brought from home . I’m waiting for a taxi.

I’m going to take the kids, who are spending time in their room, to the Old Town today. As soon as you enter the Old Town, you will see the water moat that was built in the past to defend the city walls. We came to Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple in Chiang Mai.

Can you see the disgruntled footsteps of children who don’t understand why they have to visit a temple? I really like this peaceful place filled with the sound of birds chirping. Like the foreign couple over there, I want to sit and spend time in silence.

The elephant chedi that caught my eye as soon as I came here looks like it is surrounded by 15 elephants supporting a golden stupa. Thailand is a Buddhist country where more than 90% of the population adheres to Buddhism, and elephants are said to be very sacred beings in Buddhism.

According to legend, when Lady Maya was pregnant with Buddha, she had a dream of a white elephant handing her a lotus flower. It is said that a white elephant carrying the relics on its back stopped at Suthep Mountain, cried three times, and buried the relics

Of Buddha’s shoulder blades buried at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which I visited two days ago . Where the second child, who likes living creatures better than the elephant chedi, stops, there is a school of small fish living there.

It’s fun to look around the quiet temple, but I need to move on to my next destination before the kids become more dissatisfied. We came to Kuncae Juice Bar to get the sweet drinks the kids wanted. This place is full of foreigners who come to enjoy healthy smoothie bowls and fruit drinks.

I had the acai bowl and the kids had the mixed fruit smoothie, and I liked it because it was healthy and sweet. After quenching our thirst with a refreshing smoothie, we take the kids for a walk around the old town.

Most of the time, I pay in GLN, but sometimes they only accept cash, so I exchanged a little more and bought eye drops at the pharmacy for my second child, who said his eyes were itchy due to pollen. As I wandered around, I

Noticed that pigeon feed was being sold in front of Tha Phae Gate, so it seemed like all the pigeons in Chiang Mai had gathered here. Because my eldest daughter is afraid of pigeons, I had to stand for a while before gathering up the courage to go through the door.

On Sunday evening, the main street, which was once crowded with night markets, looks somewhat deserted. The kids, who now have sore legs and don’t want to walk, got moving again when they bought them some cool ice cream at 7-Eleven. Haha,

It so happened that we had dinner today at the night market in front of Chiang Mai University… My husband went to Ang Kaew Reservoir for exercise after work, so I went to dental school. The night market in front is the best place to have dinner.

My second child’s favorite restaurant wasn’t open today, so we went to the restaurant next door. The food was a bit disappointing. It all seemed to be the same restaurant, but the quantity and quality of the food were definitely different.

Tonight’s dessert, I’ll buy it at a 100THB cake shop on the way back to the hotel. This is my daily life in Chiang Mai, where I eat well.
