Hello everyone, Today I would like to take a walk around Lake Inawashiro and Mt. Bandai in Inawashiro Town. In winter, the snow is deep, so traffic lights are oriented vertically to prevent snow from accumulating.
This is a memorial museum to Hideyo Noguchi, who is world-famous for his bacteriological research. It is famous for its thousand yen bill. Inawashiro Craft Beer Hall Kakyo Ramen Hall is a Kitakata ramen theme park. The all-you-can-eat buffet is popular.
You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view from Lake Inawashiro to Mt. Bandai on the roof of the Ramen Hall. The clear blue sky stretched endlessly above Mt. Bandai. Let’s walk to Lake Inawashiro. A cycling road of approximately 3.4 km from east to west runs along the shore of Lake Inawashiro.
It is a popular cycling course and walking path where you can enjoy the lakeside scenery. There is a cycle center along the way where you can take a restroom break. The lake water approaches your feet and feels impressive. How beautiful! There aren’t many places where you can experience such a sense of freedom.
We will take a short break here while enjoying the scenery. I enjoyed the 3.4km walk. This is Shiratori Beach, where hundreds of swans come to visit each winter. It seems that there is a roadside station nearby.
Popular items at the roadside station include katsudon with sauce made with Fukushima Prefecture brand pork “Rokuyama Kogen Pork” and authentic pizza baked in a stone oven. The snowplow, which is unique to snowy countries, was twice as tall as me. its big!

2024年明けましておめでとうございます。
今回は福島県猪苗代町にある猪苗代湖と磐梯山周辺を歩いてきました。
猪苗代湖は日本で4番目に広い湖で磐梯山は綺麗な三角の頂きが見えることから会津富士とも呼ばれています。
冬になるとたくさんのスキー場がオープンし、県内外からスキー、スノーボードを楽しむ人で賑わっています。
