1966年、山陽本線の大門駅 – 福山駅間に貨物駅として開業し、1979年に旅客駅として開業したでゲソ。2010年代にエレベーターが設置されるなど、バリアフリー化が進み、誰でも利用しやすくなったでゲソ。エレベーターは改札外に2機、改札内に2機あるでゲソ。
In 1966, it opened as a freight station between Daimon Station and Fukuyama Station on the San-yo Line, and in 1979 it opened as a passenger station. In the 2010s, elevators were installed, making it more barrier-free and easier for anyone to use. There are two elevators outside the ticket gate and two inside the ticket gate.
