「日本長者番付」2024年版、33歳のビリオネアが初のランク入り
#フォーブス 最新版「 #日本長者番付 」を発表。 #ランキング に入った #富豪 50人の #資産 の合計額は、2023年の約1920億ドル（約29兆8910億円）から4％増のおよそ2000億ドル（約31兆1360億円）となり、わずかながらに増加。日経平均株価の高騰が、円安による資産の目減りを一部相殺する形となった。
ただ、 #番付 入りした50人のうち半数以上が、前回の番付作成時から1年の間に資産を減らしていた。反対に財力を増した富豪は、16人にとどまっている。番付の50位の資産額は、前回の9億6500万ドルから9億8000万ドルへの増加となった。
上位3人の顔ぶれは変わらず
最新の番付の首位は今回も、複数の衣料品ブランドを傘下に持つファーストリテイリングの会長兼社長、柳井正だった。柳井の保有資産は、前年より約26億ドル多いおよそ380億ドル（約5兆9200億円）と推定される。
続く2位には、ソフトバンクグループの創業者、孫正義が返り咲いた。ドル建てでみた保有資産は、前年より約61億ドル多い推定270億ドル。今回の番付に入った富豪の中で、最も大きく資産を増やした。
3位はファクトリー・オートメーション用センサなどを手掛けるキーエンスの創業者、前回2位の滝崎武光。保有資産はおよそ216億ドルで、ドル建ての資産額の減少幅は50人の中で最も大きく、約16億ドルのマイナスとなった。
4位は、サントリーホールディングスを率いる佐治信忠とその家族。5位は、半導体製造装置などを手掛けるDisco（ディスコ）社長の関家一馬とその家族だった。
ディスコの創業者一族の保有資産は推定74億ドルで、前年比での増加率は、番付に入った富豪の中で最も高い150％だった。日本が半導体産業の復活に向けて野心的な取り組みを進めるなか、ディスコの株価はここ1年ほどの間に、およそ3倍に急騰している。
「新顔」5人の最年少は33歳
今回、初めて番付に名前を連ねたビリオネアは5人。そのうち最も順位が高かったのは、祖父の島野庄三郎が100年以上前に創業した自転車部品メーカー、シマノを受け継いだ現会長兼CEOの島野容三（20位、約24億ドル）だった。そのほかの4人は、以下のとおり。
永田久男（32位、約14億5000万ドル）──他社に先駆け、小売にAI技術を導入する取り組みを推進してきたディスカウントストア・チェーン、トライアルを運営するトライアル・ホールディングス会長
佐上峻作（41位、約11億5000万ドル）──AIを駆使した中小企業の合併・買収（M＆A）を仲介するM＆A総合研究所の創業者。33歳の佐上は、今回の番付に入った最年少の富豪でもある
宇野康秀（43位、約11億3000万ドル）──決済サービスやストリーミング配信などの事業を展開するU-Nextホールディングス社長
粟田貴也（49位、約10億ドル）──国内最大規模のうどんチェーン、丸亀製麺を運営するトリドール・ホールディングス創業者

資産額は、2024年5月10日の株価と為替レートの終値に基づき算出している。番付は、家族その他の個人、証券取引所、年次報告書、アナリストなどから入手した株式・資金に関する情報を基に作成した。各氏の保有資産には、家族・親族の資産を含む場合がある。非公開会社の価値は、類似した公開会社との比較による推計。また、番付には日本国内に事業基盤や住居その他を持つ外国人、海外在住ながら事業その他の形で日本と深く関わっている日本人が含まれる。

#Forbes announced the latest “Japan Rich List” on May 29th. The total assets of the 50 richest people in the #ranking increased slightly from about $192 billion (about 29.891 trillion yen) in 2023 to about $200 billion (about 31.136 trillion yen), a 4% increase. The rise in the Nikkei average stock price partially offset the decline in assets due to the weak yen.
However, more than half of the 50 people in the #ranking lost their assets in the year since the last ranking was created. On the other hand, only 16 people gained wealth. The assets of the 50th person in the ranking increased to $980 million from $965 million in the previous ranking.
The top three faces remain unchanged
The top of the latest ranking was once again Tadashi Yanai, chairman and president of Fast Retailing, which owns several clothing brands. Yanai’s assets are estimated at about $38 billion (about 5.92 trillion yen), about $2.6 billion more than last year.
In second place is Masayoshi Son, founder of SoftBank Group, who has returned to the top. In dollar terms, his assets are estimated at $27 billion, about $6.1 billion more than last year. This is the largest increase in assets among the wealthy people on this ranking.
In third place is Takemitsu Takizaki, who was second last time and is the founder of Keyence, which deals in sensors for factory automation. His assets are about $21.6 billion, and his dollar-denominated assets have decreased by about $1.6 billion, the largest decrease of any of the 50 people.
In fourth place is Nobutada Saji, head of Suntory Holdings, and his family. In fifth place is Kazuma Sekiya, president of Disco, which deals in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and his family.
The family of Disco’s founder has an estimated assets of $7.4 billion, and their year-on-year increase of 150% is the highest of any of the wealthy people on this ranking. Disco’s shares have nearly tripled in the past year or so as Japan makes an ambitious effort to revive its semiconductor industry.
The youngest of the five “newcomers” is 33 years old
Five billionaires are making their first appearance on the list. The highest-ranked of them all is current Chairman and CEO of Shimano, Yozo (20th, $2.4 billion), who inherited the bicycle parts manufacturer Shimano, founded over 100 years ago by his grandfather Shozaburo Shimano. The other four are:
Hisao Nagata (32nd, $1.45 billion) — Chairman of Trial Holdings, which operates the discount store chain Trial, which has been a pioneer in introducing AI technology into retail
Shunsaku Sakami (41st, $1.15 billion) — Founder of M&A Research Institute, which mediates mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of small and medium-sized enterprises using AI. At 33 years old, Sakami is also the youngest billionaire to make the list.
Yasuhide Uno (43rd, $1.13 billion) – President of U-Next Holdings, which develops payment services and streaming services
Takaya Awata (49th, $1 billion) – Founder of Toridoll Holdings, which operates Marugame Seimen, Japan’s largest udon chain
