As a Canadian, I love Cambodia and Thailand. The cultures are so similar but Cambodia is less overcrowded and less westernized.
Your coming to Cambodia!! 🎉👏 Hope to bump into you while you are here, we are here now 🥰 nice vid btw 🙏
Do you know what area in cambodia you'll go to? 😍
Big thanks guys for your positive view of Laos and we are most welcome to you to Laos. I'm from Vientiane and I hope to see you somewhere around Vientiane.
Thanks brother, always a great informative video that gets a thumbs up Everytime ! CM is a planned future home, and not to far away in time, thanks again! Aloha from Maui, where you have at least a airbed to stay. Well, not sure in 6 months ,lol !😊
What a story from the sailor. Just wow. Very experienced ‘traveler’.
Oooh nice! We will be in PP for a month atleast 😍👏👏 live near Russian Market, but we can go anywhere 🥰
Great interview! My favourite in SEA definitely is Chiang Mai! ❤️
The Australian is wearing rose-colored glasses. 😅
My favorite place in SE Asia is Bangkok. I have now been to 85 rooftop bars in the city. Kind of my thing. When it's durian season, very hard to beat the markets in Kuala Lumpur. All the best durian arrives there!
I don’t understand why people compare Bali to Thailand a whole country.
Ai cũng thích tự do nên du khách chọn Thái Lan, ngoài giá rẻ ra thì Thái Lan còn có rất nhiều waria
stupid people always compare, if you don't like Bali, don't come. We are also fed up with the behavior of poor tourists who like to steal clothes and even contraceptives.
disgusting🤣
As an experienced traveller it is interesting to hear views of different other travellers. Love Thailand & plan to end my twilight years there.
good job chai, love the way you conduct your interviews, it's kinda cheerful vibe. try asking stories ppl hv on their travels. mine: Paris metro, boarding and tall man shouted get out! He explained, someone behind tried to pickpocket me, and true enough she had her hand inside my jacket phew!! Facts tell, stories sell!!
ask: which city was most memorable and why? – you will get stories this way too
Really like this video,i rate it's one of your best!
Well done 👍
Mengapa orang membandingkan Bali dgn negara , Indonesia itu negara terbesar di asia tenggara orang hanya mengenal Bali, Indonesia jauh lebih banyak pilihan kendalanya cuman tiket pesawat yg mahal dan Indonesia hanya kurang promosi 😢 lihatlah raja Ampat, Mentawai, pulau komodo, lombok ,pulau banggai,😮😂 Indonesia seperti sangat diremehkan dan dianggap negara yg kecil ,padahal Indonesia negara terbesar di asia tenggara, dan lebih banyak pulau 17,000 daripada filipina
Thank you Chai for always mention about Cambodia in your video. 😊 Every city in Southeast Asia are beautiful and have their own unique.
Yet another excellent video 🌷🙏🏻
Chai, if you read this, i suggest you travel to Borneo/Kota Kinabalu. the weather is perfect in September (no rainy season). And don't forget to have a bowl of laksa at Yee Fung on Gaya street!!
What’s your top favourite places chia ?
There's a lot of people raving about Chiang Mai, but I think they must be talking about being 20 to 30 minutes out of the city itself because the city itself is not so great.
I visited several times and was not that impressed. Bangkok has a Wow aspect to it, that Chiang Mai doesn't.
During my visits I found Chiang Mai to be rather quiet and very boring at the night time especially.
Youtubers like to go on about the outskirts of Chiang Mai or rather the places a few hours away. But that can also be said about Bangkok and you are much closer to the Islands when you are in Bangkok, than you are in Chiang Mai.
I presume the hype about Chiang Mai is mostly to do with what has been spread by digital nomads about it being a rather relaxing place and with plenty of affordable lets.
But I can think of plenty of places that match that criteria that I actually think are better.
i prefer Thailand because it is a really holidays pradise offers you a lots of facility and choices infrastructue is very good kost of living is reasonable thank you have a nice day bye-bye.
Thanks for sharing Chai
👍🇦🇺
Personally the best place I visit so far is Hagiang Vietnam 🇻🇳. I failed Hagiang loop last year because too cold was alone without guide. I just arrive until Dong Van town and back to Hanoi. I could be do it again in the future.
I don't understand some foreigners' attitude towards Thailand. Even though it is very developed, they don't like it and want us to be backward like Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. It's like they want Thailand to be an underdeveloped country, backward like the third world that Westerners want it to be. Or to really collapse and disappear from this world. Even words of praise are insincere flattery. They probably want us to use elephants as an excuse to colonize or invade militarily like in the past that happened to the countries around Thailand. And it also creates rifts and divisions in this region. Yes, we Thais are stupid to have survived being colonized, so we can't speak English as well as those countries that were once colonies. Today, we are already pitiful because Thai politics are no good because it is unstable.
difficult to say what is the best. ( ok. Thailand is one….) all has their own attractiveness, but honestly to say as more i am travelling the more i have started to look authentic culture…..escape from too touristic places.
Check all these ppls hard drive 🙏🏻
I love Cambodia 🇰🇭 the people the culture and the authenticity
From how much that I am hearing that Bali is like Thailand, just more EXPENSIVE. I am starting to think that when I visit Indonesia for the first time, that I should try a different section of Indonesia to visit.
FILIPINOS DO NOT LIKE THEM EITHER. LET THEM LIVE IN THAILAND AND VIETNAM FOREVER.
FILIPINOS DO NOT LIKE THEM EITHER. LET THEM LIVE IN THAILAND AND VIETNAM FOREVER.
Philippines is like the Latin American culture. It has spanish based culture. Grand Ctholic festivities, classic traditional hispanic traditional clothing, music and architecture. People are friendly and welcoming. Trully Philippines….viva Filipinas.
I love the man in the second interview. He loves the Philippines.
Keep in mind, Malasya is the one and only place in Southeast Asia, that you can “escape” from the hot weather, no one other country can in that area 😊
My choice is malasya
I appreciate your great Interviews very much Chai, always a highlight to hear some good opinions from nice people from diff. part of the World❣✌Top job Chai 👍🍀
Love your videos mate, i love s.e. asia, been all over it, but a country that needs more reviews and more advertising is myanmar, and awesome country and totally undiscovered. (Irish subscriber) Great channel mate 💯
I’m so excited to see your Cambodian series! I was planning on moving to DaNang but have decided to move to Cambodia and get TEFL certification to teach there. I can’t wait to see your recommendations. 😊
Interview location in Chiang Mai.. and ask their ideas about their favourite country?
I like the second, and third, fourth interview.. very valuable advice
The aussie dude with the hat has certainly got the right mentality and sounds like he's had a great life
Have you ever tried Jakarta mate?
I life life in the fast lane and do a few crazy things in south east Asia but I've only had good times not 1 single negative experience happy😊
A lot of these travellers havent been to the philippines
CHIANG Mai number 1 I hear. 🙏
Without a doubt my favorite video yet. I agree, Chiang Mai is fantastic. I sent this to friends. Keep up the good work!!! Thanks
I have travelled in all countries in SE Asia but I have to say that the Philippines takes the cake for me.The Filipinos are one of the friendliest, if not the friendliest, people in the world. They say that it's only because of English. But I beg to differ. Filipinos just have great personalitys, extroverted and always happiness even on challenging times. One sign of extroversion is when you take a camera and begin recording. Most SE Asian would just shy away and run away from the camera. Filipinos, on the other hand, would even come to the camera. Even without the camera, they'll come to you and happily interact. They really do make you feel welcome, not just as a visitor, but as a family.
Lol why do these guys always have to backdoor brag about their business success? "I'm fortunate, I ran a big company, could retire anywhere." Cool story bro…
Thumbs up 👍 Champ
Nice interview Chai ❤ keep it up
Excellent interviews! Bravo!
