We are sisters, Julia and Anastasia Vanderbyl. A few years ago, we began a journey to live a life in perfect harmony with nature. A life of caring for animals, growing fruit, planting trees, gardening, cooking, creating, building and learning to live with the land.
In this time, nature has taught us more than we could have ever imagined.

Our environmental films document the landscape, the lessons we’ve learnt and our work as regenerative farmers here on Bundjalung Country.

We live on the land of the Arakwal and Minjungbal People of the Bundjalung Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country we live on and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters. We thank them for protecting this rainforest and its ecosystems since time immemorial.

    You girls while looking all yummy in paradise must be handy. After all, youve got to eat, and why breed all those animals just to be patted and loved all day. Where not going to see yous dress a carcus for the freezer etc… but Im hoping yous are as practical and down to earth realistic as yous look so fluffy. Then we / I would have the full picture of awsome. {but yes for yr show you must keep the illusion for the illuded} but yous are the real deal anrt you?

    Didn't you say in one of your posts that you had minor flooding from a typhoon? How do you brush cut? If you did a video on it, I might have missed it. I'm guessing you don't use any large farm equipment but more of hands on.

    I miss my mountain life.. I have goat, a cow, chickens. I forage on the shoreline, gather fruits. Eat banana and sweet potatoes that I planted. My younger years… Now im in my 40's living in this concrete jungle… ☹️ I wish could turn back time.
