This Festival is Wild!! / Travel to Non-Touristy Thailand / “Phi Ta Khon” in ISAN

Today we will be visiting one of the most unique and unusual traditional Thai festivals called “Phi Ta Kon”. It’s celebrated in the North East area of Thailand called Isan, in a small district Dan Sai located in Loei province. During 3 days of celebration the streets of the town are filled with people wearing masks of ghosts, spirits and other creepy creatures. I’ve never seen it myself, which is why I decided to make a detour of my Northern Thailand motorbike tour, visit the festival and share this experience with you, guys.. and of course, there will be delicious Thai food/street food too!

    จังหวัดเลย ผู้จัดงานคือควรแก้ไขน่ะเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจหรือหน่วยงานรัฐปล่อยให้มีมอไซค์ท่อดังทั่วท้องถนนได้อย่างรายทั้งน่าอายขายขี้หน้าจังหวัดอื่นที่เขาจัดได้ดีกว่านี้มันควรเป็นงานแห่งการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรม ไม่ใช่มาทำลายบรรยากาศเพราะพวกท่อดัง ดูบ้านนอกและห่างไกลคำว่าความเจริญมากนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติต้องมาเจอแบบนี้หรอ???หรือคนในท้องที่เองก้วางเฉยคิด่าดีหรอ?ถ้าเป็นแบบนี้ต่อไปนี่ก้คนหนึ่งแหละที่จะบอกญาติพี่น้องคนรู้จักว่าอย่าไปเลยน่ารำคาญเสียงท่อไอเสียดังๆ ทำลายบรรยากาศหมด
