【大阪vlog】大正区:渡し船サイクリング&リトル沖縄🌺🚢 | ツーリング | アジア料理 | 沖縄物産店 | 皇室コーヒー |

Hello, I am einiai! Today is Cycling DAY ! We will start with lunch at Bishoen. This Asian diner serves delicious ethnic food from Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries. Originally located in Tennoji, it was moved to Bishoen around September 2023. The murals are cool. There is also counter seating that may be easily used by a single person. During lunch time, we ordered a special set that comes with a main dish and a side dish that changes daily. My husband ordered "Bameenam" (Thai noodle). I ordered nasi goreng, which is Indonesian fried rice. The dessert that came with the set was refreshing apricot tofu. This is my favorite restaurant because it is really delicious. Even if you don’t like ethnic food, there are many easy-to-eat dishes! Let’s start cycling. My partner’s road bike has been with me for many years. Today’s main goal is here. A bicycle tour on a free ferry in Osaka City. Osaka city free ferry There are eight places ferries operated by Osaka City. They are used by local residents as part of their daily lives, such as commuting to work or school. The boat ride takes about three minutes. There are no seats on the boat. There are not many pedestrians on the boat, and most people seem to be using the boat by bicycle. Since bicycles can be loaded on the boat, it seems to be a popular cycling course. Finally, it is time to board the boat. Starting from the Nishinari-ku side, the boat crosses the Kizu River to Taisho-ku. Both buses and subways are developed as a means of crossing the other side of the river, I think it is one of the good things about Osaka that these means of crossing still exist. The light shining on the surface of the water is beautiful. We arrived at the other side of the river in no time. Depending on the time of day, the ferries were running every 10 to 20 minutes. There were many large factories and ironworks in this area. This is the first time I have come to Taisho Ward by bicycle. Bakery ha_na I came across a cute bakery. It is a small store, but they have a wide variety of breads. It was a style to choose bread from the showcase and tell the staff about it. I bought some for my breakfast the next morning. We searched for a cafe at random. It was hard to find a place that really hit the spot… I came to a store selling coffee beans. Osaka Toyo Coffee Founded in 1970, they roast their own coffee beans and deliver them to restaurants. Although it is not a coffee shop, we were shown to our seats to enjoy the delicious coffee. This store is actually a hidden shop. I heard that there are coffee beans that have been approved by the Japanese Imperial family. The "koushitsu" beans, which were selected at a coffee fair when His Majesty the Emperor was the Crown Prince, are said to be very popular. The boss served me cold brew coffee. It seems that it takes 10 hours to make it. Sankusu Hirao Hirao (Hirao Shopping Street) About a quarter of the population of Taisho Ward is said to have Okinawan roots. It is called "Little Okinawa. This Sankusu Hirao Hirao (Hirao Shopping Street) is the shopping street that shows the most Okinawan color. It is one of my favorite places to visit on a regular basis, even though I have no particular Okinawan roots. Sawashi Shoten A specialty store that carries a wide variety of Okinawan foodstuffs. You will find many things you are not accustomed to seeing in your everyday supermarket. You can feel like you are on a trip to Okinawa without even leaving Osaka. I was thirsty, so I bought some Okinawan Bayarese. At the front of the store were handmade Okinawan Sata Andagi (Okinawan traditional sweets). I was happy to see that they sell them by the piece, and Sata Andagi is delicious. One piece is huge! I was also happy to see that they usually sell Okinawan soba noodles, which I sometimes see at fairs. I think you can get most of the Okinawan ingredients in this store. I decided to eat the Sata Andagi I had purchased on a bench under the eaves of the building. The surface is hard and crispy, and the brown sugar is delicious. Okinawan Bayarese. It tastes somewhat stronger than I remember (mainland Japan Bayarese)…? I would like to compare it and try it someday. It’s getting dark. I felt like I had been to Okinawa, so I took the ferry as if I were going back to Honshu. Combined with the color of the sky, I feel somewhat sentimental. All eight Osaka ferry locations operate free of charge. Some of the boats go from Tempozan to USJ (Sakurajima). You can also enjoy the view of the Osaka Bay area, including the Ferris wheel. The timetable shows that all the ferry boats operate until around 9:00 p.m. It’s getting dark, so I turned on the bicycle light. I was very happy to be able to take the ferry that I had been longing for today. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for watching.
