We’ll explore the trail that is shown as "South Alps Viewpoint" on Google Maps. ※See description for the trail entrance. "You can just see the top of Mt. Fuji." Oh, where? Is this it? It’s hard to see since there’s no snow anymore. The trail continues quite far. "Oh, a deer!" Check it out with the front cam! Watch out for deer coming in groups! Then, ahead on the roadside… Bambi, or, a fawn was there. Sorry for scaring you. Going down and down. There are also a lot of branch lines. On a flat dirt trail like this, It doesn’t look like a machine with 690cc. Here comes the sharp turn. He got off again! I know it is heavy 😆 Explore one of the branch lines. It’s getting tough for the 690. 😏 Still going zigzag down. "This is had, I feel sorry for him." When I heard the words of pity… after all he has him keep moving on! Form halfway, the slope had been collapsed everywhere. “It would be tough even on a TT(250)R.” Exactly! This is not the place to come on a 690. See? 😆 And ahead was… just like this. It was dangerous, so we turned back here! Go to the trail extending from right near Nanamagari Sky Park! ※See description for the trail entrance. This is truly an authentic trail! And this stunning view! By the way, “Nanamagari Sky Park” is a takeoff area for paragliders and hang gliders. Is this place the same? (Probably not) There’s a trail that goes down. “The loose surface makes it hard to climb back up.” Well, that’s just for one guy, though. 😁 If we can get through to the town of Shimada, this would be an amazing route. “This looks similar to Nanamagari, doesn’t it?” It’s the same Nanamagari we saw earlier! I wish I could have taken a 360° camera shot here. And then, fallen trees! We got the Serow move over the trees to explore further ahead, but it was all dead ends including branch lines. Finally, we take the work road that extends from (Shizuoka) Pref. Rd 39! Last time we bushwhacked our way through here, a nice path had been made. Here, too, the road has been reattached. Once we clear this part, we’ll reach the flat trail along the river. We’ve reached the flat trail. It was supposed to be flat, but… “Oh, shit.” “Help me, please.” Oh, this is a close call!
