1554 [Camping] [4K] Campsite opening in 2023! Introducing Camp Nano Koshigaya Campsite, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture Heading to a new campsite. The location is Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. Camp Nano Koshigaya Campsite. ■Basic information about the campsite This is a site that will open in 2023. You can experience something out of the ordinary. Feel the night breeze and gather around a bonfire. There was a nice spot nearby. You can check availability on the website. You can also make a reservation. You can do day trips and overnight camping. Day trips are mainly from 10:30 to 15:30. Overnight stays are mainly from 15:00 to 10:00 the next day. Prices vary depending on the site and day of the week. They also vary for solo and multiple people. It was 3,800 yen for a day trip solo on a holiday. There are three main types of sites. Type A has a parking space. Type B is on the site or adjacent P. Type C also has a parking space. It seems that each site has a fire pit. Facilities include a management building. It seems that there are also rental items. Pet-friendly days are listed on the calendar. Events are held on some days. Check the website for details. ■ Heading to the campsite We are now approaching the campsite. The road gradually narrows. Turn around a gentle curve. Not finding the entrance, we stop. Is it a little further ahead? We accidentally passed it. Go around once and turn left. Look for the green fence. Turn left at the end. The campsite entrance is immediately on the left. Park in an open spot for now. We have arrived at the campsite. ■ Check in and move to the site Check in and move to the site. The site was designated. Park your car inside the site. We arrived in no time. Get out of the car. The ground is crushed pottery. White blocks mark the boundary of the site. It is spacious enough for solo travelers. Your car is within the boundary line. If you are a family, you can use the whole area. This time we will pitch our tent next to our car. The path is white gravel. ■Check the parking lot If your car won’t fit, there is another place. After passing the block, you will reach the private parking lot. You will need to go outside and go around. This area is covered with grass and dirt. On the right is a farm. This is the sign at the entrance to the parking lot. Enter from the road you passed first. Go around the back from above and you will reach the campsite. Just to be sure, go up the hill to check. This is what it looks like from above the road. If you pass it, you can go around and get there. Go down the hill to enter the parking lot. You can either stay inside the site or in the parking lot. There is also a farm on the right. It seems that you can also experience harvesting at the campsite. The site is surrounded by a fence and metal plates. It bends and connects to the campsite. I thought it would be better to enter without the block. ■Check the site and entrance There are sites on both sides. The brown areas are the campsites. There are a few on the other side too. The sites end around here. The parking lot is beyond the car. There are several bicycles parked. There is a bicycle rental service. If you look closely, you will see a remote control on the handlebars. There is a battery under the saddle. We entered from the right by a car. The light blue building is the reception. The bridge in the distance is distinctive. This is the view from the entrance to the campsite. ■Check the facilities Check the facilities next to the reception. There are separate toilets for men and women. There is an ash dump. They also sell firewood. The grounds are fenced off. It is open and you can see far into the distance. Is that a rental grill? There are two water areas. The toilets are new and very clean. Next, we check inside the reception. Can we go up from here? We enter from the front and change into slippers. Is the reception area on the left? There is another toilet in front. There are two showers on the right. We checked and were given our boards. We put on camping stickers. We hope to see more in the future. The toilets are stylishly decorated. The showers are also clean. It seems the inside of the building is being tidied up. We go down the stairs and go outside. There is a poster for the campsite at the entrance. There are various types of trash cans lined up. ■Pitching the tent We’ve returned to the site. It’s time to prepare the tent. We use the BANDOK Solo Dome. We’ve changed and customized the fly sheet. After taking a break, we’ll make a bonfire. We spend the time cooking camp meals. The ground is ceramic, so it seems hard. I’m not confident about using the pegs that came with it. Titanium pegs were included. If possible, it’s better to use the thick pegs sold separately. We managed to get it in with the thin titanium pegs. We pitched our tent on the site. This is the view from the front. This is the view from diagonally in front. This is the view from the side. This is the view from diagonally behind. This is the view from directly behind. You can spend time looking at the view in the distance. The ground is hard, so we recommend using chairs. This time we sit on a mat. This is the view from a seated position. There is a canopy, so it’s safe. If you park your car, you won’t have to worry about what’s on your left. It’s good that it’s close to facilities like toilets. ■Making a drink on the burner First, make a drink. Assemble the SOTO table. Flip it upside down and place it in front. Take out the SOTO gas burner. Spread out the legs and assemble it. Connect it to the CB canister and place it on the ground. There is no grass or other flammable material. The other side of the site cannot be seen from the car. If you are concerned about it, set it up the other way. Prepare titanium cups. Choose which one to use. This time we will use a 450ml cooker. Open the bottle lid. Pour water into the cup. Put the lid on to prevent spilling. Put the lid on the cooker and turn the knob up. Light the gas burner. Put on leather gloves and place the cup on it. Boil water on the burner. Open the cooler bag. Make apple tea. Open the package and take out the contents. It’s a tea bag, so just put it in as is. Open the lid of the cup to check. Turn off the fire when it is at a comfortable temperature to drink. Set the cup down and open the lid. Put the tea bag in the cup. Wait for the tea to be ready. Remove the tea bag. Have your apple tea. It’s refreshing and delicious. Relax while looking into the distance. You can use a fire pit here. I chose from three colors. I was also given some kindling. You can use it on the ground or on the table. I’ll try using it later. ■Summary A summary of the campsite. I drove in and checked in. I went to the site and set up my tent. It’s an open area with a fun atmosphere. Toilets and other facilities are conveniently close by. If you can’t enter the site, there is a parking lot. To be continued next time.
