【北海道一周旅】#3 札幌から350km (o_o)日本本土最北端へ到達!!! ツーリング

Good morning everyone ☀️ It’s the morning of the fifth day First solo camp in my life, the next day arrived safely Today, we will head north to Wakkanai City 🏍️ The morning sun is the best! departure! ! [Japan Sea Ororon Line] Nickname for National Routes 231 and 232 that run along the Sea of Japan in Hokkaido It’s straight the entire time lol. There are no traffic lights at all lol This feels like Hokkaido~ It’s sunny now ☀️ I’m heading north! ! [Otonrui Wind Power Plant] Wind power plant located in Horonobe Town, Teshio District, Hokkaido There are 28 windmills, each approximately 100 meters high, lined up in a straight line over a 3.1 kilometer stretch. Is this really Japan? ? Too grandiose JR Wakkanai Station A station located at the northern tip of Hokkaido, and the northernmost station in Japan. Arrived at Wakkanai City 🏍️ Coral is tired because the Ororon Line is forever straight The station building is a renovated version of the original building that opened in 1922, and is registered as a national tangible cultural property. Cape Soya Park The northernmost point of Japan. At the tip of the cape, there is a “Monument to the Northernmost Point of Japan” with the motif of the ridge of the North Star and the letter “N” representing north in the center. Finally arrived at the northernmost place 😄 It is the northernmost part of Japan 😊 [White road] A walking path that stretches for approximately 3 km and is paved with shells of scallops, a specialty of Wakkanai. The White Road was constructed by Wakkanai City in 2011 to promote tourism. At that time, the initiative of paving the path with scallop shells was rare in Japan, and the beautiful scenery of the White Road quickly became a hot topic. Anyway, the contrast between this road and nature is the strongest~ I’m sure there’s no other road like this anywhere else ^^ [Esanuka Line] A part of Sarufutsu Village Road in Wakkanai City, Hokkaido. A straight road that extends southeast from Cape Soya with a total length of approximately 16 km. Here, there are no telephone poles, no signboards, and no cars. . Eternal straight road Known for the scenic road that represents Hokkaido Hokkaido’s potential is amazing, isn’t it?
