A bicycle trip where you can see a different scenery than when you spend a night in the mountains. This time, I am planning to cycle around Jeju Island. Let’s go on a romantic trip to Jeju Island, a place whose name alone excites us, with its blue sky and emerald sea. I came to Jeju Island to go on a bicycle trip, which I do every year. This time, we plan to ride a bicycle along the coastal road in Jeju Island. I will ride leisurely for 2 nights and 3 days or 3 nights and 4 days. YONGDUAM Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road Now we have started in earnest from Yongduam Rock. I plan to circle Jeju Island counterclockwise. One turn is about 240 km. I will ride leisurely and slowly. And this time, we received sponsorship for a bicycle speedometer product from Trimm. I received the product and tried it before coming here and it was good. It was nice not only for the altitude and speed, but also for the navigation function. I will use it well during this trip. To get to the bike path in Jeju Island, just follow the blue line like this. The bike path is well made. I am currently passing through a village called Naedo-dong. I’m glad it didn’t rain I’ve only driven along the coastal road, but I think I’ll be able to see a lot of good things by riding a bike like this. aewol Ilju Road / Coastal Road It is currently 1pm and I have ridden 21km. Gwakji Beach (Open-air bath connected to the sea) Take a break at a cafe with a nice view If you go this way, you will reach Sinchang Windmill Coast. #Jeju Sea Ranch Jeju Haenyeo Sinchang Windmill Coast. I’ll have this for dinner tonight On the first day, there are only 500 meters left from the accommodation, but there are no restaurants nearby. There are one or two places, but both are closed today. It’s a pity, but I’ll eat jjambbong. I ate noodles for lunch, so I wanted to eat something different for dinner. There is also fried rice, so why not eat it? I feel good I have ridden 50km and now I have 200m left to stay. I arrived Day 1 Accommodation Riding 50km today wasn’t difficult, but my butt hurt. I will ride while maintaining this level of km until the end of the trip. If you ride a lot, about 50 or 60 km, you will ride up to 70 km. On this bike trip, I will ride leisurely and enjoy the scenery without overdoing it. I like the view from the accommodation. I can see an island called Chagwido behind me. If the weather had been nice, the sunset would have been pretty, but it’s a shame the weather wasn’t so good. (Today I installed a different color frame) good morning. The weather is so nice today. Sleep well and set off on the second day. I feel good because the weather is nice. Yesterday the weather was cloudy, but today it is clear without a single cloud. This bike path is so nice. You can see the sea in front, and green crops next to you. welcome. Seogwipo City Have a simple breakfast at a cafe After leaving the cafe and riding again, I had unexpected luck. It’s a dolphin I wanted to see it every time I came to Jeju Island, but this time I finally got to see it. I pass Moseulpo Port and move toward Sanbangsan Mountain. You can see Songaksan Mountain on the right, Sanbangsan Mountain on the left, and Hallasan Mountain in the back. From here, I can see the path I have to take. I can see an island behind me. I think that’s Seogwipo. I think I’ll pass by Seogwipo today, and I’ll look for a place to sleep while I eat. As we head south to Jeju, the headwinds become stronger. Sanbangsan Mountain There are a lot of uphill slopes in the south here. The wind is strong too Current time 2:23 PM I made a reservation for accommodation while we had lunch earlier. This is the neighborhood where Wimi Port is located. I worked hard up the hill, so I’ll have fun going down again. This is Jungmun Village. I’m used to this place because I always stayed next to Seogwipo Girls’ High School when I was an athlete. There is a tourist attraction called Oedolgae nearby, and I remember running and training there every day. I came to the cafe because I had some urgent work to do. It resembles our dog at home. As I was working at the cafe, an hour had already passed. It’s now 5:30 PM. I’ll have dinner nearby and then go back to my accommodation. it’s good I had a delicious meal and am heading to my accommodation. The sunset sets behind me Good job today too The distance traveled today is 70km, and the current time is 6:40 PM. Day 2 Accommodation This is a single room accommodation. The accommodation is so nice (Today with speedometer red frame) Good morning. Current time 7:40 Departure on day 3 There was no news of rain, but it is raining. It’s not raining little by little, it’s raining quite a bit. Even if it rains, the wind blows, or a typhoon comes, I ride my bike and ride. Pass by Pyoseon Beach. Pyoseon Beach Shinpung Ranch This is a place where many people come to take wedding photos. I’m going to a place that I had good memories of the last time I came to Jeju Island. The next destination is a bookstore where time stays. A bookstore where time stays A place with many memories You can see Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seopjikoji in the distance. I see a scenery that makes me sing Thick braised cutlassfish If you eat stewed cutlassfish, you will eat a lot. So delicious Currently riding 46km I came to Gwangchigi Beach It is a place with a refreshing view of Seongsan Ilchulbong. Gwangchigi Beach Seongsan Sunrise Peak There are three representative places in the east of Jeju where you can see the sunrise. The first one is Seongsan Ilchulbong behind me. And in front of here is Jimibong. You probably know a lot about Seongsan Ilchulbong, but you probably don’t know about this place. A 200m high mountain? No, it’s about 160m. It is said that the sunrise from the peak over there is really beautiful. And the third is Hado Beach. It’s a place where people who don’t climb the mountain can easily see the morning sun. This is Hado Beach. The color of the sea here is emerald. Hado Beach Day 3 Accommodation 58.29Km, I rode a little less than 60km today. I had a hard time riding today because the wind was so strong, but after coming back to the hotel and taking a shower with warm water, I felt better. There was only one restaurant open around here, so I made a reservation there for 5:30 PM. I’ll go and have a delicious meal. The accommodation here is small and very pretty. I can see a stone wall outside, and it’s pretty too. today’s dinner a glass of beer This is how the last night passes in Jeju. Today is the last day. I left Stardust I’m heading towards Sehwa now. Go to Sehwa Beach and Sehwa Port. Sehwa Beach Pyeongdae Beach In Gimnyeong Village, I will ride on a regular road instead of taking the coastal road. I found people who ride like me I try to run with small bicycle wheels, but it gets farther and farther away. Goodbye. Hamdeok Beach I’ll go after eating a bowl of ramen. I ran 40km to get here. The end is not far away now Jeju Dongmun Market We’re almost there now. After passing Dongmun Market, I came down to the Ramada Hotel. From here, there is 1.5km left to Yongduam Rock. Soon the whole journey will end. I cycled around Jeju Island and arrived at Yongduam, the first starting point. I was able to fall in love with Jeju’s charm through a 240km bicycle trip. I returned home safely after completing a 4-day, 3-night bike trip to Jeju Island. It was nice just to ride a bike while looking at the scenery of Jeju Island, and next time I get a chance, I will ride my bike a little more leisurely.
