大空町を抜け、父の自転車を整備するタイミングを迎える。
お世話になったのは、とても良心的であった【サイクルショップ カザマ】
日中の暑さは、意識を曖昧にする。
ただのブレーキパット交換なのだが…あれがない、ここに使う工具が見当たらない。
そんな様子の我々であったが、とても快く工具など貸していただけた。
整備後、爽快に走る父の背中に安心する。
きっとそのお陰で視界も広がり田圃や畑の合間から、家が少しずつ増え領域を広げてくるのがわかる。車の走行も少なめで落ち着いた気分で街並みを拝見していると信号待ちで、おばあちゃんが声をかけてくる。
話している内容は挨拶程度の記憶に残らないキャッチボールだが、晴れ間広がる状況に加え、笑顔と雰囲気は格別で癒された記憶がしっかり残る。
自転車に乗っていると、こちらが話に行かない限りはそうそう人と話すタイミングは無い。北海道ではバイクの方が手を振ってくれる程度だ。
観光の良さは人それぞれだが、こういうコミュニケーションは何処で生きるにしろ一番大切であり、知的好奇心とも言える「関わり」という欲求は、常に求め続けていたい感情的コンディションであるとわたくしは思う。
☆Consequence.
一人の方の一声で、観光気分が上がった美幌町。
迷うことなく美幌を抜けて津別へ到着できそうです。町の様子や雰囲気を、感じるままに心を寄せることができると、今まで以上に幸せを感じることができます（わたくしの主観です）
振り返って見ても、この30分という時間の長さにズレを感じるほど、早いような遅いような…
そしてその時感じた記憶が、左脳フィルターを通してダイナミックに変換されて戻ってきたりします(笑)

第二章 宗谷岬から先

■Preface.
それは2022年の5月。父親との北海道一周ツーリングを実施してから始まった。
2022年の昨年は、苫小牧より逆時計回りで北海道1周にトライアル。その内容としては、順調に襟裳岬から釧路を抜け風連湖から野付半島を堪能し、知床峠を超えて網走まで何とか走行する事ができていた。
ここまでで自転車のトラブルは二人でパンクは3回と、スポーク修理は釧路のサイクルショップで1回。どの原因も荷物の積み過ぎが要因の一つにあった。
キャンプ場もまだ開いていない5月のシーズン前となる北海道であったが、目的である最北端の稚内へ状況を見ながら進めていた。
しかし、その後スポーク折れ（計5本）などの状況悪化により、リムの修正ができない我々は最悪の事態を考慮し、応急処置しながら雄武町から急遽内陸を走り旭川へ。
そして札幌にてリム修理をサイクルショップで行っていただいたが、スケジュールの関係もあり苫小牧へ帰る判断に一致した。
なので今年は
時計回りで稚内方面からツーリングを堪能することが我々の一つの目的となった。
