最高神を祀った神聖すぎる井戸と八幡大神の謎【石清水八幡宮】京都府八幡市

Yes, hello, I’m Jinja Sensei This time in Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture, We are now at Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. I’m going with shrine student Shinobu again. Here we are at last! Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine is, Considered one of the three major Hachimangu shrines in Japan, It is a very prestigious shrine. It has been considered important together with Ise Jingu shrine. As a shrine to protect the nation, It has been revered by the Samurai and the Imperial family. It is located near the top of Mt.Otokoyama Although you can get to the main shrine near there quickly by car or cable car, From Ichino torii gate at the foot of the mountain, walk up the Omotesando (main approach), This route is recommended to feel the history of the shrine About 1200 years ago, in the first year of the Jougan Era of the 56th Emperor Seiwa in the Heian Era, At Usa Hachimangu Shrine in Kyushu, the main shrine of Hachiman, When a monk named Gyokyo practiced asceticism, He heard the voice of God saying, "I am going to move to Mt.Otokoyama near the capital to protect the nation." He heard the voice of God saying, "I am going to move to Mt.Otokoyama near the capital to protect the nation." The shrine was built on the grounds of Ishimizu-dera Temple on Mt.Otokoyama. The shrine was built on the grounds of Ishimizu-dera Temple on Mt.Otokoyama. After that, it became closely related to many temples, The shrine became a Shinto shrine with a strong Buddhist flavor. This one looks like it was the remains of a temple. This is a magnificent gate. Koura shrine here We are going up this mountain I heard there is a cable car But it is important to walk on your own feet. But it is important to walk on your own feet. Let’s do our best. We’re here now. This is the entrance to the Urasando (back approach) On the other side… There is a pine tree related to Minamoto no Yoritomo It’s bent at a great angle. It’s kind of… It’s a little bit darker on the Urasando (back approach). It’s a little bit scary. Let’s go from Omotesando this time. There is another torii gate We have passed through the Nino Torii gate Going up the mountain from here It’s like a gentle slope. Might not be too hard. Might be a hard slope if you go on… That’s scary. Stairs that go on gently all the way up are surprisingly hard. Stairs that go on gently all the way up are surprisingly hard. There’s more to the top. I’ll do my best, sir. We are at a fork in the road This shrine here… This is Inari-san. I feel the history of this place. Now let’s continue up Around Omotesando until Edo period, Shukubo (lodging house) where monks stayed, although there were a lot of Buddhist institutions, All of them were destroyed by the separation of Shintoism and Buddhism in the Meiji era (1868-1912) Traces of it still remain today. Bamboo forest in this area has a nice atmosphere Is this your first time here? First time here. It was a Shukubo (lodging house) There were 48 places In the Meiji Era… It was destroyed by government order. Hachiman shrine originally had a strong Buddhist element, All the Buddhist elements have been eliminated There are still traces of temples in some places. Enshrined in Iwashimizu Hachimangu shrine, Hachiman-Ookami Until the Edo period, he was called Hachiman Daibosatsu, The warrior families including the Minamoto clan worshipped him as a god of war. Hachiman-Ookami is now regarded as the 15th Emperor Ojin And of Taghirihime-no-mikoto Ichikishimahime-no-mikoto Taghitsuhime-no-mikoto as the Great Goddess of Himeookami, Three sisters enshrined in Munakata, Kyushu And Empress Jingu, the mother of Emperor Ojin These three gods are enshrined as a trinity. In Usa Jingu, the head shrine of Hachiman Shrine, Hachiman Ookami about 1,500 years ago, during the Kofun period, He is said to have appeared in the land of Usa. In my consideration, in the time of Empress Jingu, brought back from the ancient Korean peninsula, I believe it may have been a migratory god. The Karashima clan, of migratory descent, also became the center of rituals, There must have been various influences from abroad then further by incorporating Buddhist elements, The forms of belief became more complex. from this history as well, I feel that he is an unidentified and mysterious god There’s some kind of building there. Finally, we are at the top. San-no-torii (the third torii gate) Finally, we reach the main shrine area. This is… Hitotsu-ishi stone… There’s a row of historic lanterns. It’s clear that it’s been revered since ancient times. Now we are approaching the main shrine. Let’s purify our hands. It is beautiful. Why is it built at an angle? It’s built at a bit of an angle to the approach. It’s a mystery… National Treasure "Gohonsha" main shrine Amazing Wonderful. It looks like there is a shrine on the back side Let’s go there. This is an important shrine, There are many smallest shrines Right behind the main shrine. And there’s a gate on the back side. The devil’s tile "Onigawara" is scary… I can feel the history of this wall… So we’ve gone around the circle now, Let’s go get a Stamp of "Gosyuin" Let’s go back to get a Gosyuin Let’s go back from the "Ura-Sando" back approach. Turn left here Beautiful bamboo grove Wow, that’s mystical. The Ura-sando is also very nice. So the cable car was here. In the area to the left in front until Meiji era, There was a temple called Gokokuji Gokokuji Temple was when Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine was founded, Gokokuji Temple was built by changing the name of Iwashimizu-dera Temple that had existed before that time. Gokokuji Temple was built by changing the name of Iwashimizu-dera Temple that had existed before that time. In relation to the main shrine of Hachimangu Shrine like a set, It was a very important temple This area seems to have been the core of Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine. Go down the fork on the right to the Ishimizu shrine. What is this place? This place is kind of amazing. I can see it now Oh, it’s only here, The atmosphere is different. This place is… Sacred. This is Iwashimizu shrine This is one of the five waters of Yawata, This well is said to never run dry in all seasons, There is Iwashimizu well The deity is regarded as the supreme deity in the history books "Kojiki", Ameno-no-Minakanushi-no-kami The shrine building faces north, so the North Star is deified and enshrined, Myoken worship may have had influence At the sacred spring water that has been here since before the Hachimangu shrine was founded, This water is used for important rituals. It is because of this spring water that the shrine got its name, This mountain has been considered sacred since ancient times This place is the most divine of all the Iwashimizu Hachimangu shrines, I felt it was an important sacred place This is the only place where you don’t hear any noise from the outside world. It’s very quiet. This is where it really is, This is the biggest power spot of Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. From a spring named Iwashimizu here, I got great power. I think this is the place to come So let’s go back. We are back to the Ura-sando again. There are remains of temples in various places It’s pretty steep… There is water like a spring here, too Finally we can see the bottom We’re back in. We’re back at the Yoritomo pine tree. Okay. Now that we’re safely back down to the bottom, Let’s check out the Gosyuin stamps. I got two versions. With the normal version, Special embroidery limited version Then normal version Here we go That’s good. It’s soft and gentle. Then it’s the limited one. This is the fall version Here we go Deer and autumn leaves are embroidered It’s amazing. That’s beautiful. And the figure eight is a pigeon. It’s cute. Pigeons are Hachiman God’s dependents. There seems to be various kinds depending on the season Wonderful! All right, let’s see. I have visited Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. I felt the depth of history in this ancient shrine The last shrine I visited, Iwashimizu Shrine, was very powerful. I was so surprised. I hope you all will visit the shrine. Thank you very much.
