【ブロンプトン日帰りキャンプ】自転車で五光牧場デイキャンプ｜ローバーミニと暮らす

Yatsugatake, where a few cherry blossoms still remain. The fresh greenery season is just around the corner. We are staying at the renovated ‘SANU CREA’. It’s getting to be a good season, so today we went day camping. This time, we have reduced our luggage to a very small amount, aiming to be ultra-lightweight. However, our gear is not exactly lightweight. We set off for our favourite Goko Ranch Auto campground! Wow! Although quite far away, we were able to see Mt Fuji in the sea of clouds! It’s amazing to be able to see both Mt Fuji and the Yatsugatake Mountains. Parking lot near Nobeyama Station. Today, our Mini stays here. #52 We went day-camping with Brompton The reason for packing less was… to try day-camping with Brompton for the first time. However, we don’t always choose lightweight gear. We also want to relax with our favourite items, so it’s far from being a light load for a bike. We also have filming gears, which are very heavy. We’re on a Brompton on the familiar road to Goko, which we’ve driven past many times! This, ‘We want to go on a Brompton to places we’ve driven past in our Mini!’ series has become a pleasure for my wife and I(LOL). We arrive at Goko Ranch auto campground! Our first attempt on a gravel road by Brompton. It’s a tough hill even by car, so we walk up it, as expected. I recklessly take on the challenge. No way. We finally make it up the hill and decide on a campsite in a place with a view of the Yatsugatake Mountains from the woods. Our first camp site with bicycles. We are looking forward to figuring out what kind of layout we are going to use. I think I can use this log as a platform. I’m going to try attaching a cutlery set to my folded Brompton for now. I found a place where I can hook it up. Today’s site is complete! Now we would like to cook lunch. Today’s menu is the familiar pre-packaged curry. However, this is our first time cooking rice in the Storm Cooker. Now, can we cook it successfully? I put in the packets I bought at the nearby Yatsuren. The rice seems to be cooking well. Cutting the ham on the steaming rice. Oh! It was cooked well. Almost. Almost a disaster. It’s finished! Bon appétit. Delicious. The rice is a little hard and perfect for curry. Cooked, baked and warmed. The storm cooker was a great success. By bicycle, day camping is only 500 yen per person! Never thought there was a Goko you could enjoy for just one coin… It’s going to become a regular way to relax during our workcations.
