We will be investigating Nagano Prefecture in April, which is also wonderful this year.
From this year, our base has changed from Saitama Prefecture to Ibaraki Prefecture.
I’m leaving earlier than last year.

Head to Shirasawa Cave, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Northern Alps.
After sightseeing in Hakuba Village, head south towards Matsumoto City.
Enjoy Lake Shirakaba and Venus Line
On the way back, I took the expressway all the way to Ibaraki Prefecture.
This is a day trip of over 700km.

The fog is thick and the scenery is magical.

Sugadaira Plateau straddles Ueda City and Suzaka City.
It is a summer resort with a cool climate even in summer.

The cave serves as a snow jet in a snowy country.

The road is dry so it’s easy to drive on.

Hakuba is close and the amount of snow on the roadside increases.

The impressive Northern Alps spread out before your eyes.
The second highest mountain in Japan
It is long horizontally and has an impact different from Mt. Fuji.
I was able to take photos with the impressive Northern Alps.

After leaving Shirasawa Pass Observation Deck, go down National Route 406.
Next, I will go to Hakuba Village to take photos of the Northern Alps.
The Northern Alps that can be seen in between are spectacular views.

Get off the mountain pass and enter the urban area of Hakuba Village.
From Hakuba Village, you can really feel the enormity of the Northern Alps.

The view of the Northern Alps from Hakuba Village is also spectacular.
It is a large mountain range that straddles four prefectures: Nagano, Gifu, Toyama, and Niigata.
I’m glad I was able to come to Hakuba Village in April this year.

I often buy rice when touring.
It is interesting that the taste of rice differs depending on the region where it is produced.
Yudai 21 was sweet, glossy, and very delicious.
I bought some souvenirs and headed out.

Nagano Prefecture in April was wonderful this year as well.
There were many wet roads and the undercarriage was dirty.

  1. これから二輪旅にはいい季節ですね。しかし疲れないと言われる400Xと言えども、日帰り700㎞って体力オバケですか?

  2. ストロークが1.2cm違うだけで風防ついてるので、ほぼ同じバイク=CL500🔷で。伊豆発2時→和歌山9時→串本12時→鳥羽16時→浜名湖19時→伊豆着22時。1150㌔日帰りを2月末出来ました😊。この2気筒、素晴らしいエンジンですよね❤。

  4. 距離ガバですね。400Xは長距離走るのに向いているとしても凄いですね。
    白馬は1時間ちょっとで行ける距離ですが、道路の塩カルが消えるまでは行こうと思いません。そろそろ良いかも知れませんね。

  6. 400xいいですね。2年前に別のバイクと迷って、結果別のバイクを買ってしまいました。
    今は後継機が出てしまいましたが、400xの2022年の倒立フォークモデルは今でも欲しいと思っています。
