  1. Regarding the model driving a motorbike with her hands free, she was arrested because she was a celebrity and then posted a video of her hands free on social networks. When asked to remove the video, she refused, so the authorities arrested her. We will be treated more severely than usual. As for the girl who talked about politics, she was sentenced to 3 years in prison because she said some incorrect things and made personal attacks. She was also fined many times before being arrested and tried in court. Everything was very fair. declare

  2. Mr. Pang … just found it on Grab. 8 km away – grab driver will hate me but planning to try it tomorrow
Funny, so many women said the same about Viet men being lazy drunks 😂
    Great video

  3. I’m here in Da nang right now. This is so true. The people are so happy, friendly and lovely. I am a vegetarian so still have to give the chicken a miss. Sorry.
Oh and i feel so safe here, I’m staying here until end of August. ❤

  4. the worry here is that you think that western media is truthful and reliable. Google and YouTube has massive amounts of censorship, on a par with anything elsewhere. Facebook too. In the UK, the government employs the 77th Brigade to spy on tweets, posts etc. This is the censorship of the west.

  6. Here is another restaurant to add to my wishlist when I visit Da Nang. I think these type of videos are very good, as they allow us to see a more natural side of Vietnam. Keep up the good work.

  7. Vietnam is not a free country because a free country should allowed peoples protest , freedom of speech , still plenty Vietnamese in jail for posting something in social media which government don’t want they telling the truth . Corruption is everywhere in government , like China you see many millionaires and billionaires but who are they . They are. Member of communist party or tied to the party . The government today allowed peoples express theirs anger but on personal level like talking among friends because they know peoples need to release their anger in someway before its out of control . A free country is a country that have multiple party represent for peoples but not in VN . There is no private own media , TV , news papers ….. VN is a smaller China nothing different .

  8. Hello. I am a japanese traveling around many countries and recently visiting Vietnam. I always watch YouTube but almost everything are just a travel guide, but your channel is very interesting you talking to many people.

  10. In Vietnam, you can freely talk about politics or criticize officials, but it must be true with specific evidence. When you point out corrupt officials with evidence, you will also be rewarded and honored. There are many Hotlines or websites of state agencies and local authorities where you can submit your comments. If you just listen to rumors or sources that are not true and then make false statements, you will be criticized.

  12. I can say that Vietnamese know how and have experience to keep the country intact than most other countries. That why citizens or someone else who take advantage of freedom of speech to cause social disorder that harm our independence have to be stopped. it doesn't mean we don't have the right to talk politics, I can say that we know how the world works more than most of the west citizens. but if u say the wrong thing and cause bad influence to the other or even more, to the nation, u have to bear the consequences of what u caused. Other than that, the rest are all free and easy. Citizens don't need to pay much income tax or social amenities, it's may called "rich people, poor government". but the government still finds ways to build infrastructure and social security. That's why Vietnamese are quite chill. It can be summed up like that. Stay safe and enjoy your trip.

  13. As a foreigner living here for 4.5 years!! Oi gioi oi you should think and ask Ms Tram off air!! And simply it’s free and easy to live here. Come on bro you should know by now that running the government down or Disrespect the law or Govt! Stupid questions and common sense mate! That’s my feeling!!

  14. Thanks for the value video. I follow a bunch of yt channels (in and outsie VN). We talk about politics, history, peoples everyday. As long as it not provoking against the government, or not say anything incorrectly that damage someone/organisation's reputation. Therefore we can talk anything after an official news release. Or government will not agree if we spread bad behaviour to social media that young generation will follow and that will effect the community. (That the story of the model riding the motorbike without licence, your friend mentioned on the video).
This is a really interesting video, you choose the right topic which everyone want to know.

  15. Traditional Vietnamese coffee requires you to sit and sip for 15 – 30 minutes. It is not instant coffee like Starbucks. That's why you see so many Vietnamese people sitting in coffee shops. The coffee taste is a bit bitter and very strong, you may not get used to it but you will get addicted to it. That is why Vietnamese coffee is world famous in addition to being the world's second largest exporter of coffee.

  16. 16:00 This is a comment lacking understanding and knowledge. In Vietnam, the leaders in many fields are mostly men. In Vietnamese families, men often earn more money.

For example: 9 of 10 richest people in Vietnam are men.

  17. I can see that's it's a touchy subject but I appreciate the effort. I commented last week on how free it seems here and I still feel that way as it pertains to my lifestyle. I've since been informed on what can happen though if you break laws (specially certain laws) and it is severe. The old "liberty vs safety" balance we learned about in poli-sci? It does feel incredibly safe and the people are genuinely great in a way that I haven't seen anywhere else. Great channel also. Tks

  19. Vietnam is as free as the USA!! Maybe Vietnam is more free because people have the freedom to be safe in public they don't have to worry about shootings and kids are safe in school. Cost of living in Vietnam is low for the locals, crimes are low, discrimination is rare, homelessness is not out of control. These are just a few things the WESTS don't talk about when they speak of communist Vietnam

  20. Did a trip,to ba na mountains. The guide explained how American soldiers did r and r in Da Nang, and went awal and did not go back to fight and stayed with the monks in the mountains,. ThemAmericans bombed the mountains where they were staying

  22. I am Vietnamese, I have been travelling almost 20 countries: Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain,…. I still choose to live in Vietnam, cannot live without Vietnamese food😂😂😂 I live in HCMC, both husband and wife have to go to work.

  23. I'm living in northern Vietnam, I don't really know what it's like in other places, but where I live, discussing the political situation in the country and abroad is very normal, just don't post it. uploading information to the internet that negatively affects the existence of the government. Even when using the internet, I see quite a few people living in the country defaming the government without being punished by the police.when I say these words, can Many people will think I'm a communist public opinion columnist, but I swear what I say is true.🫡

  24. Great stuff! Is Da nang a good place to go for a first time visit to asia? Or is thailand better to stsrt of with? Very sweet ang wellspoken young woman, her dish looked delicious 😊

  25. Oh! Do Vietnamese allowed to get news from the world? Jesus!!! This guy is in fact so lack of information no matter where he lived. Yeah, dude! Vietnamese are allowed to get world news. Whatever country you are from, please keep the fake news for yourself and don't spread it to world.

  26. Of course, Vietnam is not the same as other countries, in pretty much all Asian countries you can't mock or criticize people in the government, in Western countries you can, see that Boris Johnson (UK Prime Minister) was breaking the law during the pandemic and he was penalized and criticized to hell. But I think many the elites are up to debaucherous stuff behind closed doors. The good thing about SE Asia is that it is easy to set up a business in the West the bureaucracy is a joke, and gender classifications and roles are normal and traditional in Asia which is nice for many. The west tends to be too progressive socially and people can't catch up.

  27. I believe Vietnam has the most optimal form of Freedom, it is their right to have freedom but they also must be responsible of what they can do with this privilege. If a person abuse their freedom then they don't deserve it in the first place.

  28. Ah – good topic and luvly lady – excellent view of business life in Vietnam 🇻🇳 “ No.1 “ – Thanks my friend ✔️😎👍🙏
