【自転車散策】古道をゆく 辻の一里塚から上尾駅まで　#自転車　#埼玉

Today, I started at Tsuji’s Ichirizuka on the old Nakasendo road. I’m hoping to make it beyond Omiya, around Ageo if possible. I’ve been curious about the eel restaurant on the left here. Turning right takes you to JR Urawa Station. There’s also an eel restaurant on the right. Urawa is famous for eel.

Turning left leads to JR Kita-Urawa Station. This area is near JR Saitama Shintoshin Station. I’ve strayed from the old Nakasendo, so I’m turning right. It seems the Nakasendo turns into the approach to Hikawa Shrine. Since bicycles aren’t allowed here, I’ll take a detour. The station on the left is JR Kita-Omiya Station.

The old Nakasendo. The Tohoku Shinkansen runs overhead. I’ve veered off the old road again, so I turn left to get back. Going straight leads to Miyahara Station, right turn for the old Nakasendo. I’ve entered Ageo City. I remembered seeing the Niku no Mansai sign;

It seems their Akihabara flagship store is closing on March 31, 2024. I often rode past Niku no Mansai, so it’s sad to see it go. I want to eat there before it closes. JR Takasaki Line Ageo Station.

It’s my first time at Ageo Station, so I’ll ride around the station area. I found a nice-looking shop, but it was closed after lunchtime. I’ll visit another time. I ate Ageo ramen at Ageo Ramen along the old Nakasendo. Ageo Ramen Main Store. I had the chashu noodles.

The staff was energetic, and the seating was spacious, allowing for a leisurely meal. It was so delicious that I want to go back. So, in the end, I headed to the bustling Omiya Station. Icibanｰgai Something exciting is happening. See you in the next video.
