1月1日に最大震度7を観測した能登半島地震の発生から、1カ月余りが経過した。これまでに241人の死亡が確認され、11人が安否不明となっている（ 9日午後2時時点 ）。
地震による住宅被害は6万236棟に上った。
石川県輪島市は甚大な被害を受けた場所の一つで、多くの建物が倒壊したほか、大規模な火災も発生した。
BBC取材班は発災から4週間余りが経過した輪島市を再び訪れ、いまも続く壊滅的な被害状況を取材した。

日本のメディアはヘルメットをわざわざ被って、なんかめちゃめちゃ胡散臭いけど、BBCは被って無いから、逆に自然体に見える。
最後の家の中の映像は、1階部分が残っているだけまだマシな方で、地震の被害を伝えるには向いてないでしょ。
それより、液状化によって持ち上がっているマンホールを映せば良い。どうして物資が十分に届かないのか、それである程度わかるでしょう。

日本のテレビは質が悪くて、何時間も天気予報みたいなことやってたり、ずっと大谷翔平とか、それも複数チャンネルで電波の無駄。電波料もほとんど払ってないわけだが。まぁ、だれも見なくなるわけだよな。何年も同じようなこと言われてんのに変われないんだからな。
世界中で大地震起きてるからもう世界的には小さなニュースまぼね。地震多すぎまぼ。
今後も能登半島は、数年～数十年単位で地震起きそう。残念だが街を復興というより、人口減少にあわせて撤収整備していった方が良い。

動画の6秒から10秒までの右上の方に青いテントの様な物が写りこんでいます。周りは焼けているのにその青い所は燃えていません。これは人工的にレーザーで燃やした火事と云う事です。

ゴーストタウンは違和感あるし、危険判定の家の中には立ち入らないべき。もし余震があったら報道者が要救助者となってしまうから(日本の報道はそこをわかっていない(雲仙・普賢岳等)と言われるけど、BBCもそんなもんなんだね)
ドキュメンタリー的な報じ方は海外向けと考えると納得できるけどね
