アイランドナガサキ (i+Land nagasaki)滞在記 長崎市伊王島にあるリゾート+ホテル

Arrived at Nagasaki Port Terminal This time we will take a boat to Iojima island. Purchase the boat tickets inside the terminal You can buy tickets from the vending machine. There aren’t that many boats, so be sure to decide your boarding time in advance. Adult one-way ticket: 710 yen Platform information

There are two piers. Going to Iojima island… Yes, it’s bus stop 4 or 6. There is a bridge over Iojima island, so you can reach it by car. It will take about 30-40 minutes. There is also a free bus from Nagasaki Station to Iojima island.

It takes about 45 minutes and the number of bus is not so many. You can also go by boat! It takes 20-25 minutes! ! If you don’t have a private car or rental car, we recommend a boat. The entire island of Iojima is a resort.

Hotels, hot springs, pools, beaches, and other activities are all available. We’re heading to the boat dock. This is “Shunkan”, which will be taking care of us this time. Capacity is 140 people. Originated from “Shunkan,” which became the model for puppet theater and kabuki.

By automatic control of the hydrofoils installed at the bow and stern, It provides comfortable sailing by suppressing shaking even in rough weather. We will board the ship. A view of the port city of Nagasaki A restaurant area called Dejima Wharf You can see Mizubenomori Park. We came inside the ship.

The inside of the ship is very clean. Of course there is also a toilet. The front rooms are also clean. It is a new ship as it entered service in March 2023. The seats are 3-4-3. It was Saturday, but there was not so many people, probably because it was in the morning.

As soon as we left, we could see Mt. Inasa. Speaking of Mt. Inasa, the best thing to do is the night view. The scenery that has been selected as one of the world’s new top three night views is worth seeing. Next, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagasaki Shipyard came into view.

You can see cranes lined up. It looks like some ships are parked there as well. Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works began construction in 1857. It has been in operation since 1860. It has a history of over 160 years! Official name: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Nagasaki Shipyard Abbreviation: “Nagasen”

Also known as the birthplace of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. It is registered as a world heritage site as “Sites of Japan’s Meiji Industrial Revolution: Iron and Steel Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, and Coal Industry” Five assets: Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works, Kosuge Shipyard Ruins, Third Dock, Giant Cantilever Crane, former wooden mold factory, and Senshokaku

The scenery you can see from this area also includes World Heritage Sites. There was a giant cantilever crane in the foreground, But I couldn’t take it as a video. This crane was purchased from England in 1909. Apparently it is still in use.

There are some spaces around here that could accommodate cranes and ships. It’s a long way from the opposite shore, so it’s nice to be able to see it from boat. This bridge is the Goddess Bridge. It was apparently built to alleviate chronic traffic congestion in Nagasaki City,

Strength cooperation between port facilities distributed on both banks of Nagasaki Port improve the efficiency of logistics. The nickname is “Venus Wing” Is there anyone calling it with that name? Since it’s not often that we pass under a big bridge like this, this is also a good thing about traveling by boat.

It may not seem that fast, but if you look at the sea surface, you will see that it is quite fast. I think it’s going about 40-50km/h (Just my impression) The spray is amazing. Continue towards Iojima island This island is “Takahoko Island”

Although it is an uninhabited island, it is also known as a place of martyrdom for Christians during the prohibition era. Iojima island is getting closer. Iojima island came into view We’ll be arriving at the port soon. There are a lot of people fishing.

People with fishing gear were also getting on and off the boat. It seems that you can also catch bigfin squid. You can see a building with an orange roof on white walls. Is it the building of Island Nagasaki? Are they imagining Mediterranean buildings? Expectations are high. Arrived. The ship will dock.

Get off the ship Arrived at Iojima island There’s a certain southern atmosphere. Thank you, Shunkan-san. It was a very clean and comfortable boat. This ship will soon depart for Takashima island. Afterwards, return to Nagasaki from Takashima via Iojima. Landing on Iojima island We need to check the map right away.

There is a resort facility on Iojima island called i+Land nagasaki (Island Nagasaki). The eastern part of the island is the main area of Island Nagasaki. There are hotels, hot springs, pools, and other places to play. This is the port area right after getting off the ship. There were cafe and shop.

Island Nagasaki’s free loop bus runs on the island. It seems that the city’s community bus is also running. There is Olive Park on the way from the port area to the play area. It is said that approximately 2,500 olive trees have been planted within the facility.

First of all, we will go to the most fun part of this time, “Play Kids Land”. There was also a restaurant nearby. Rental bicycles are also available. Hotel guests can rent it for free. For day trippers, the fee is 600 yen for 2 hours. There was a tuk tuk.

Looks like it would be fun to ride this. It seems that anyone can ride around the island for free. There is also a free bus that goes around the island. The area of Island Nagasaki are large, so bus transportation is a great option. this blue bus

This seems to be the building where the front desk of the hotel is located. Reception for the activities are also in this building. We came to the front desk The Christmas tree is beautiful. There was a hotel reception and souvenir shop. There is an activity reception desk in the back, so go there.

Souvenir shop Dinosaur head? Is this the dragon of Nagasaki Kunchi? There is also a map here so check it out. We received an unlock number Head to “Play Kids Land” This is the building. It was also written at the entrance. Free for overnight guests, 300 yen per person for day-trippers.

This is “GO! GO! Vehicle Island” This is a new facility opening in 2023. There are many Train rail toys. There were lots of tracks, tunnels, and trains. Perhaps because it was early in the morning, there were no other children playing. The image quality is poor… This is Tomica’s (toy cars) room

There were roads and overpasses here. Tomica (toy) cars are also lined up on the wall! Passenger cars, sports cars, working cars, strange cars, etc. Even adults will be fascinated by it. There were also some things that looked like Tomica bases. Is this a police station? Is this the fire department?

There was also a Toy rail tower (we can’t touch it). I guess the train isn’t running… Toy rail in this room too. You can also run freely here. A certain amount of railroad tracks have been made, so you can enjoy arranging them. This is a dream collaboration between Shinkansen Tsubame and Meitetsu μ-Sky.

We never expected to see something so rare! We came to the play area It’s bigger than we expected and has lots of play equipment. What is this dome? ! There is also a baby area exclusively for 0 and 1 year-old. Playing with a fluffy dome. There is also athletic play equipment.

Climb, go under, slide… This slide looks fun to circle around too. There was also a trampoline. This slide is short. You can also do bouldering. There was also a fluffy slider. There was also a large trampoline. Rope bridge You can also play with cushion-shaped blocks freely. Some have strange shapes and are interesting.

Blocks with interesting shapes, there are also toys that attach to the wall with magnets. It will stimulate our creativity. There are quite a few people, but it’s not too crowded. This is what it looks like in the morning on a holiday. It may be a secret spot. There is also a ball pool.

For some reason there were a lot of bears. Next, we will play on the lawn square. A resting area at the edge of the lawn square. The surrounding area hotel area. With an orange roof and white walls, this place also has a Mediterranean feel. The trees also have a tropical feel.

At the lawn square, you can rent Segways and four-wheeled buggies. There are also rides that kids can enjoy, such as striders and scooters. It’s quite spacious. At this time, there were also people riding Segways and buggies. Choose a foot-pedaled four-wheeled vehicle called a buzzy. Pedal and handle like a bicycle

Our child quickly got used to it and was able to row faster. The square is close to cottages, hotels, and the front desk, so it’s easy to access. There were some cats. Are they kept at this facility? The sea is close enough.

There is also a path along the coast, so it might be nice to take a leisurely walk. It’s a little far away, but there’s a beach, so it’s good to go by car or bicycle. If you feel a little tired, there is a lounge where you can relax and anyone can use it.

Next, we will go to Arkland Spa. We will have lunch here. There is a free loop bus, but since the weather is nice, I take a walk. Arkland Spa also has hot springs and areas where you can enjoy wearing swimsuits.

There is also a cafeteria where you can have lunch easily, so we will go there. The weather is nice and we feel good. There was also a tuk tuk here. It also serves as a bus stop for the loop bus, and you can also rent bicycles. A loop bus is running.

We will do our best on foot. There was a cafe here. It looks stylish. Arrived at Amimoto Shokudo. The menu is mainly seafood, rice bowls, and set meals. A la carte dishes Kids menu for udon Drink menu ♬ Minced chicken bowl comes with pickles and soup.

The udon is thin, so I guess it’s Goto udon? Children’s udon set That’s all for our stay at Island Nagasaki. Here is the end of the video. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe to the channel and hit the good button!
