【ドッキリ】家族に内緒で南米コロンビアの家に帰ってみた！

It hasn’t been that long since I last saw my dad. My dad and his wife came to Japan for the first time about two months ago, they left Japan two months ago and they spent a month and a half with us traveling around Japan. I haven’t seen my sister in eight months.

Kaito and I visited Colombia earlier this year. We flew in January. Yeah. So it hasn’t been that long, you guys. And I got to say, this trip came together only two weeks ago. Only two weeks ago. So we’ve been excited like crazy. Nobody knows we’re going to Colombia.

We have been able to keep the secret because we bought this ticket just two weeks ago. The only person that knows about this trip is my brother-in-law who will be picking us tonight. Well, tonight in Colombia at the airport and Kaito’s sister,

That if you guys don’t know, Kaito’s sister is also living in Colombia and those are the two people that know about this crazy trip that we’re about to embark in. We are over the moon, you guys. I think you can tell by our faces right now.

Another thing that got me really, really excited is the fact that we’re going to be spending Christmas and New Year’s in Colombia. I haven’t been in December in Colombia, maybe in ten years, I guess. So this is something very, very exciting.

Of course, you guys are going to be watching this video way later, but it’s December now. It’s the beginning of December, you guys. This time we’re going on an exciting motorcycle journey through Colombia! It’s going to be one heck of an adventure, and I want you to check this out!

I bet you’re guessing these bags are packed with bike gear, but you’re wrong. They’re full of souvenirs. We’re taking lots of Japanese souvenirs for our family. We’re gonna have a blast seeing how they react! We’ve got to make sure these bags make it safely to Colombia.

Check-in is done and we’re ready to go find our gate. This time it’s not going to be that long of a flight. It takes only 25 hours, 24 hours to get to Colombia. So we’re super, super happy about that. Last time we went through Europe and it took us 48 hours.

I mean, that was crazy. We’re not repeating that twice. So this time we booked a flight through the United States. So we’re going to be flying Ube to Tokyo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Miami and Miami to Cali. That’s a very good flight. Ori, do you know what this is?

No idea. There’s always these type of characters, like everywhere outside big malls, at airports, everywhere. And I never know what it is. Our journey is finally starting. The 26-hour journey begins now. We’re really excited! We switched seats and now we’ve got tons of legroom. Thanks for that, JAL. We’ve made it to Tokyo

And we’ve got to hurry up because we have less than 2 hours here before our next flight. Will we make it on time? I think we are the only ones traveling to the international terminal. I’m not sure but there was nobody waiting. And this bus is living in about 2 minutes.

So, we have the whole bus to ourselves. I just can’t believe I’m going to see my sister in about 24 hours and she has no idea about it. This is goint to be one heck of a surprise. We’re heading to the other side of the world, not telling the family,

And planning to surprise them by knocking on their doors. It’s gonna be something else. Can’t wait. Which gate is it? It must be this one. Yeah. Which gate is it? Check-in “I”. Okay. I think our flight is early by 15 minutes, so we got to run even faster. We made it.

We have about 40 minutes before our flight departs, so we’ve got to run. We’re in such a rush that I’m sweating. It’s hot. It’s December, and I’m just wearing a shirt. It’s really hot. Way too hot. We barely made it. People are already boarding. We barely made it.

If we had missed the bus, we probably wouldn’t have made it. We made it. We’re now flying to Los Angeles. It’s a 10-hour long flight. We’re now in the plane. In contrast to the JAL flight, the legroom here is quite tight. Check this out. There’s barely any space.

We won’t let that dampen the fun of this 10-hour flight. We just got this ‘kakipi’ snack. Ori loves this. Lunch time is here. I got chicken, a salad and another salad. A salmon salad. A tiramisu cake. Let’s eat. Now it’s 9:44 p.m. in Japan. This is dinner tonight.

We’ve finally made it to Los Angeles. We’ve got 2 hours to get through immigration, and then we’re fliying to Miami. We don’t have much time. Going through immigration might take a while. The immigration line is crazy long. This is going to take more time than we thought.

Well, we made it to custumes. It took us about one hour. Now we have to pick our bags, go to security and find our gate and we only have about 40 minutes left. So here we are, running. We’ve got no time. That one. And this one. I hope it’s this one.

Is it this one? Let’s go. We’re just passing through today, but we’ll visit this country someday. For sure. We’re now going to Miami. We’re on our way to catch the plane to Miami. We made it just on time. We’ll be boarding in 5 minutes.

You might be wondering why Ori and I are wearing our motorcycle clothes. This time, JAPEX is hooking us up with the right motorcycle clothing for our Colombian adventure. This WiFi operates in 136 countries, so remember it for your future travels. We made it to Miami. I’m super sleepy now. The adrenaline was through the roof, but I’m starting to feel sleepy. I slept just a bit. It’s been 21 hours since we departed Japan and I’m already feeling exhausted.

We still have one more flight to go. I believe it’s a 4-hour flight to Colombia. So not that much. We’re almost there. Kaito’s falling asleep here on this chair. Only one more flight, Boo. Only one more flight to go. Yeah. We’ll make it. Look at our matching boots.

I wouldn’t say this is the most comfortable outfit to travel in, but we had no choice, right? There was no space in our bags. Because of the souvenirs. Yes, so we had to wear our riding jackets. We had to wear our riding pants, our riding boots. People might think we’re crazy.

We’re ready to hop on a motorcycle anytime, even in just 5 minutes. Final flight. 4 more hours and we’ll be in Colombia. Finally! Finally, guys! I’ve got no idea on the hours passed from the initial 26. I haven’t sleep at all. Our final flight! 4 more hours until the surprise. Nobody knows.

Nobody knows we’re coming. It’s what? It’s 10 p.m. and we finally made it to Cali. Slept a lot on the plane, and now my eyes are wide open. We’ll be meeting Pipe in about 10 minutes. I mean, if everything goes well through immigration.

If it doesn’t take long, we’ll be meeting him in about 10 minutes. But if it takes longer than that… In less than 30 minutes, we’ll be meeting my sister, and she has no idea we’re coming. Ready? Ready. Let’s go. We just finished clearing customs and we’re exiting the airport.
