コロンビア人父が見た事ない大きさの大仏に圧倒。感動で言葉を失う【初来日】

No way! Look at this! Incredible! No, no, no, no. You’re blown away here every day. Every day. Every day. I hadn’t seen it. It’s another ‘WOW’ day in Japan. Nara, Japan Good morning, people. It’s 9:40 in the morning and today we are in Nara! Nara!

We are having breakfast at this local bakery in Nara. I’m going to show you around. It is a beautiful place and everything looks so, so yummy. Look at all these yummy things they have here. Delicious. They got many things to try. This one’s with oreo, this one’s with egg.

I believe this one’s with onions and that one’s the famous melon bread. And, of course, coffee is a must. Cheers. This bread is almost like a slushy. I’m very happy after this breakfast, new energy now. But I have to tell you something.

Kaito gave us a brief overview about what we’re going to be seeing today. And it’s absolutely outrageous what we’ll be visiting today. It’s another ‘WOW’ day in Japan. Every day here is like, wow, it’s something really new for us, you know. It’s a great thing. The oldest wooden building, the tallest sitting Buddha.

We’re going to be seeing wonderful things today. Oh, amazing. Let’s go! Look at that. In a modern city you have wooden seating benches in the public space. That one, right? They have it all here, man. That’s a wow thing. That’s a wow thing. That’s a wow thing. Ori’s dad really loves this bench.

No, no, no. Look at it. The first deer. Hey, buddy. They basically own the road. Look at that cutie. He wants to cross. Wow. No way. Look at this! Incredible! It’s limping. It’s limping. She’s limping. She might have a little injury on her foot. Right hand, Her rear foot.

She came here out of nowhere, and she just started to cross the road here. Look at that. She’s right there. She’s wagging her tail. This is amazing, and it completely caught us off guard. We were walking, and then, boom, a deer appeared. Out of nowhere. It started crossing the street. And cars stopped.

Amazing. We’d heard about this, but it’s only when you’re actually here and see it that you go, ‘Wow!’. This is amazing! Everyone stops for them to cross. How cool. Well, get ready because there are thousands of them here. Don’t tell me. Do they live in the mountains, or where exactly?

Here in the parks. Look at those. We’ve got to cross. Let’s go across. I can’t believe this. Look at these animals. Look at them, Grossi. This is incredible! This is something new for us because we don’t really have these animals back home. Yeah.

We do have deer, but they’re mostly found at high altitudes, and they’re not very common. These animals are a novelty for us. It’s just amazing! Get closer to that one. Hey buddy. How beautiful. Because of the food. Can you believe this? You want some coffee? Hey buddy. Hey buddy.

Can you believe it’s like this every single day? We should stay here. I still can’t believe it. So this is the welcome committee. As we go into the park, there’ll be more and more. This is the welcoming committee. That’s a strong male, man. He means business, man. That’s a strong male. Hi guys.

We’re at Nara Park right now, and something cool I do is observe people and try to guess where they’re from. Trust me, it ain’t easy. We just had a chat with some people staying at our hotel, and Kaito and I were curious about where they’re from. Guess what?

Turns out, the guy is from France, but he speaks fluent Spanish because his folks are originally from Spain and moved to France. The women with him, one’s from Chile, and the other’s from Argentina. It’s a never ending surprise. I told Kaito they are Italian. I was wrong.

It’s entertaining for me to look at people and their traits. If they come from Korea or China. Kaito’s been sharing pointers on how to figure out people’s backgrounds. It’s amusing. These are some special cookies for the deer, made with rice husks and rice flour, and they’re sugar-free. We’re going to feed them.

Tthey even bow to ask for those cookies. That’s so Japanese. Very respecful. He’s bitting me. Let’s sit down there, man. They follow you. He insists, man. I’ve taken care of you. Incredible. There’s more coming. Wow, that’s a big one. Don’t bite my legs! They don’t taste like cookies! No, no, no, no, no.

Easy. They’ve bitten my butt. Have you tried this? It’s good. Yeah. Really? It’s crackers. He’s feeding the deer with his mouth. Not the paper! Not the paper! Nara’s not just deer central; there’s a cool Buddha you shouldn’t miss too! We made it to Todaiji Temple.

The biggest sitting Buddha in Japan is right here. Here you’ll find the biggest sitting Buddha in Japan. No way! Here? Inside that building. Absolutely magnificent. I just need five minutes to let all of this sink in. You can find the dimensions of the Buddha here. It’s a National Treasure.

No, no, no, no, no, no. Look here, not there. How is this even real? No, no, no. You’re blown away here every day. Every day. Every day. Yeah. Todaiji. No, no, no. How is this even real? Is this the oldest building you were talking about? No, we’ll be visiting that one this afternoon.

This is where the biggest sitting Buddha is. Wow! Unbelievable! Go ahead. Here we go. This is like something from another dimension. It’s magestic. It’s hard to put into words what this place is like. Check out how tiny people look next to the size of this building!

You can’t even imagine the size of this building. It’s mind-blowing! It’s magestic. This is unbelievable. Magestic. This place is unequalled. Incomparable. It’s hard to put into words what this place is like. Look at this. I wonder how heavy this door is. Look at this. I hadn’t seen it. Look! It’s huge!

Is this the biggest Buddha? Yeah, the biggest sitting Buddha. What an amazing place! At the entrance, the statue will genuinely surprise you. It’s pretty remarkable. What will you do? He’s grabbing a coin from this temple because he’s into collecting all sorts of coins. I’m going to get this one. Which one?

So I got my Todaiji Temple medal. With the Buddha on one side, and Todaiji temple on the other side. That’s a cool coin. It’s a cool coin. Yeah, very cool one. It’s a nice little present from this place. Very, very special place. Okay? Okay. Start a stamp? Here we go.

It’s doing it there, you know? Look at that. Wow. Incredible. Oh! Look at that. Look. We’re in Nara, man. Look at that. Okay. You’re ready to go. You can take it out by pushing here. You’ve got your personalized coin, Grossi. Wow, man. This is incredible. Just incredible. What an awesome gift. Thank you.

Awesome. Thank you. What a nice gift. How cool, right? How cool. It’s a golden coin. Gold. There are lots of things to see in Nara. We’re now at the oldest building in Japan. It’s called Horyuji. Well, welcome to the oldest building in Japan. Thank you. Horuyji huh? Well, let’s check it out.

This dates back to when? 1400? (Years ago) 1400s?! 1400 (years ago) I suppose these pillars are from back in the day. Very old. Wow. Look at this huge door. That was before Christopher Columbus discovered America. Christopher Columbus arrived in today’s Dominican Republic, Haiti, in 1492. This was built before that. Way before.

Yeah, way before. 600. 607? Yeah. I think Grossi is just so amazed by this place that he had to take a minute or two to sit down and just take in the views and enjoy this present moment here. Cheers! Cheers Osaka! Cheers Osaka! People might think you’re sipping beer with a straw.

Try the dumplings. How is it? Really good. This restaurant is famous for its dumplings.
