ハンターカブ2023北海道ツーリング 第九話 | 足の具合がよくなり、苫小牧から室蘭経由できじひき高原キャンプ場へのドラマチックな冒険 カブじいさんVol.102

[Music] Old Man Cub , is it okay to ride a bike? Oops, another dangerous close encounter! I came to eat this gourmet food ! An incident occurred on the way to JJ’s house ! How’s your leg? Good morning, Old Man Cub.

This is the morning of the 8th day at the inn in Tomakomai . Get out of bed.I stand up gingerly and check on my leg . It feels nice. It feels a little strange, but it’s okay. It looks like we can finally resume touring today .

I have posted a link in the summary column for the touring process from leaving New Chitose Airport to Tomakomai on the 7th day . If you haven’t seen it yet , please do. The temperature is 20 degrees calm. As for today’s driving

Route, after leaving Tomakomai, I will first run towards Muroban in the southwest, then I will visit the house of Mr. JJAHGC, also known as JJ, and the rest is undecided. If you know who JJ is , please take a look at JJ’s channel from the link in the summary section. I’ll go outside

And check the weather. The eastern sky is shining. Sounds good. I’m going to take off Han’s bed cover that was parked under the eaves of the inn . I think this cover will protect against night dew and will also

Be effective for crime prevention in a busy area like this. You can get it for 100 yen, so I recommend it. I put the bike down on the road and am ready to leave. I placed the things I use frequently

On top of the bag in the center and moved the 360 camera so that I could easily operate it . After I put on this cap that prevents my head from getting stuffy, I

Wrap the cat’s neck guard around my neck so that it is in close contact with the shield to prevent the wind from blowing in from under the shield and making my eyes wet . This is really good. Also, this red Montbell fleece

Is very warm and protects your wrist from the wind by hooking your thumb over it. You can finally ride a turnip, old man turnip. Yes, I’m going to take a day off and then light up some Hunter Turnips

. Is it too late to start a fire after death? Yes, the engine started successfully. The Cub has a kick pedal, so even if the battery dies, you can start the engine right away, so you

Don’t have to worry. Yes, it left at 6:30. The morning sun is dazzling. As for why I’m leaving so early , I think it’s probably because I’m feeling depressed because I couldn’t ride all day yesterday. It’s said that getting up early

Is a good thing, so I think it’s good to leave with plenty of time to spare. This is the Seikoma store that I visited in the video before last, and the store staff was really worried about me because I was dragging my feet while shopping. So I say thank you and leave

. Look, the deer is walking leisurely. Even if you honk the horn, it’s still a deer, after all. Mr. Neji-san, I couldn’t help but go crazy. But I can’t help it, it’s just a deer. Deer is a leisurely deer.

Muroran is supposed to be in the southwest direction, but somehow I felt like I was being guided north, so I checked the navigation system again and it was as expected. You will be directed towards the motorway.

You need to be careful when using the navigation system on a Type 2 moped . I changed the settings and started again, heading back the way I came and heading towards Muroran. While we were doing this, it rained unexpectedly. Well, I’m running thinking

This will stop soon . On the way, I could see the ocean from the side of the main road, so I took a little detour. The Pacific Ocean in the morning feels refreshing. This is how I feel the joy of being able to ride a bike again. It was a wonderful view,

With Muroran on the right and the coastline towards Obihiro on the left . As I often say, I live in Saitama Prefecture without an ocean, and I can’t help but be moved by just seeing the ocean. As I was driving along National Route 36,

I came across the directly managed Oji Salmon factory. This is my favorite. In the distance, I could see the Neyama waves in the direction of Noboribetsu. It’s majestic, isn’t it? Mr. Kabu G also

Went to the side street of Tetsu-chan once because he wanted to see the Muroran Main Line. This is one of the major trunk lines in Hokkaido . The Muroran Main Line, which connects Oshamanbe and Iwamizawa, is of course double-tracked. Well,

The longest straight section in Japan is also on this line. Just one turn from the main road and you can drive along the side of this magnificent meadow area. Feel Hokkaido. As I was running, a very catchy sign called Upopoi appeared in front of me. I didn’t know this, but

It’s a facility that respects the culture and customs of the Ainu people, the indigenous people of Hokkaido . I wanted to see it, but it opened at 9am and there were still about two hours left. Why did I give up? I have given up on sightseeing in Upopoy, but

I would like to visit the adjacent Poroto Forest and Poroto Lake. I think I’ll take a look around on my bike . The road gradually became narrower, more moss-covered, and there were many signs warning of bears, so I went halfway and came back. There seems

To be a campsite if you go further down here, so I thought I’d definitely try camping next time. Ever since I fell and had back pain on the fourth day of this tour , I’ve been getting a little nervous about going into remote areas off the main road.

I went to see D51 No. 333, which was preserved in a static state right next to Poroto Forest . This is a D51 that was active on the Muroran Main Line and Hakodate Main Line . Sounds good. Turnip old man is of course aiming for Muroran. Yes, this cat monster-like

Bear along Route 36 . This is Kani Goten’s famous character. It seems like people often take photos here . There are many shops that sell crabs. Also, there were a lot of houses with walls that looked like they had strange black and white photos printed on them, or signs

Like this, and I wondered if they were popular on Instagram or something. As I was driving , I noticed that there was a hotel standing on top of the hill.It looked nice. It’s the best here. I would like to camp in a place like this

. It’s almost Noboribetsu station. Yes, this is Noboribetsu Station on the JR Muroran Main Line . This is the gateway to Noboribetsu Onsen. Inside this classic station building, there are two statues of a cat and a bear, and a sign says you can straddle them, so I tried to ride them

. This big bear is scary. What if something like this attacked me? There are some modern vending machines , but there are some vestiges of the old days. Yes, Route 36. Cape Muroran can be seen in the distance. This

Is the historic Horobetsu Bridge, which is famous among bridge fetishists. When I thought that Cape Chikyu was finally approaching, I found out that this is not Cape Chikyu, but Cape Itanki. Cape Itanki is also wonderful, but I have a special feeling for Cape Chikyu, and I

Want to head there as soon as possible, especially since it’s on Earth. If I ride my bike without taking a break , my legs might stop working again, so I try to take frequent breaks. No, why don’t you head to Cape Chikyu? This is a place called Itanki Beach, and the front

Is definitely Cape Chikyu. We were finally approaching Chikyusaki, 3km away. After climbing up Route 919 , this is the parking lot for the Cape Chikyu Observation Deck. Old Man Kabu from Chikyumisaki Revenge The word for Chikyumisaki comes from the Ainu word Chikepu, which means a cliff.

Number one in Hokkaido’s top 100 natural wonders. You can enjoy a panoramic view so large that it has been chosen as the number one scenic spot in Hokkaido . Yes, when I was young, more than 30 years ago

, I came here on my bike three times, but each time I couldn’t see this great panorama because of fog or rain. This time, I finally got my revenge. Yes, I prayed here that my back would heal . After enjoying the panorama for a while, I took my

Time and enjoyed the vanilla soft serve ice cream that Rider had promised. it’s the best. This is that soft serve ice cream or gelato. After Cape Chikyu , we headed down the hill to another destination in Muroran . In addition to this slope, Muroran has many sharp curves and T-junctions, so

There are many dangerous places. Of course, reckless driving is prohibited. It’s just Muroran. Beyond this long downhill slope is a bright blue horizon. I can see the sea. It’s like Yuzu’s “summer color” scene . it’s the best. This is another station building that I wanted to see, the former Muroran Station.

It is the oldest wooden station building in existence in Hokkaido , and the roof and white walls are beautiful, with traces of Meiji Western-style architecture. A large amount of coal sent from Iwamizawa, the last stop on the Muroran Main Line, arrived here, and

From the port you see in this photo, which was right next to it, was shipped domestically and internationally. Muroran was one of the major base stations that supported Japan before and after the war . And here is D51

565 aircraft are preserved in such beautiful condition. This driving wheel boiler and connecting rods are made entirely of black steel , and you can feel their strength and presence. After experiencing a piece of Japanese history , I went to another place in Muroran that I had always wanted to visit: “Aji no Daio”.

This is one of the most famous curry ramen restaurants in Hokkaido . Let’s make curry again, just for old people ! When I entered the store, the aroma of spices and curry was already filling the air, which was amazing . Dema Turnip Old Man is an old man and can’t eat that much.

When I looked at the portion of the curry ramen next to me , I asked them to cut the portion in half. So it’s actually twice this amount. This soup has the perfect balance of salty, sweet, umami, and spiciness . The noodles are homemade curly noodles that have been aged for 3 days.

It’s absolutely delicious. If you eat it in winter, it will warm you from the core. Thank you for the meal. Now that I’ve finished eating the ramen, I’m finally about to visit JJ, who I’ve been waiting for, but an incident occurs

. Introducing the Cub Grandpa channel. The main theme of the Turnip Old Man Channel is that I, Mr. Turnip, who has passed his 60th birthday, changed his life when he met a Cross Cub, and the channel covers everything from touring camping, hiking, mountain climbing, travel, various tools, and stories about life.

It’s a channel. Sometimes I get scratches from biting, but don’t mind! Please subscribe to the channel, leave a high rating, and leave a comment. What happened is that I mistakenly thought JJ’s house was Oshamanbe. It is actually Shimamaki Village on the Sea of Japan side

. The reason why I made this mistake is because there is another old man from Hokkaido and a small motorcycle rider, a YouTuber who lives in Oshamanbe, so JJ and I got mixed up in their living quarters. That’s really rude. The distance from Muroran

To Oshamanbe is approximately 90 km. It takes about 2 hours at my old man’s slow speed, but when you get to Shimamaki Village, you have to add an additional 50km, making it a 3 hour course. Of course, if you were to drive recklessly

Or get into an accident while driving too fast, that would be no good , so I decided to give up today and contacted Mr. JJ again to visit him. Another series of failures. My goal was to drive my Cub across this beautiful Shiratori Bridge that spans Muroran Port

, but when I thought about it, there was no way that a Cub, two types of mopeds, could cross this motorway . If you were to run around this Shiratori Ohashi Bridge with a turnip, you would get caught

. So I gave up on crossing Shiratori Ohashi Bridge and took a detour while looking at Shiratori Ohashi Bridge on my left . Shiratori Chikucho! I’m currently walking along with Funka Bay, also known as Uchiura Bay, on my left. This is

A roadside station called “Aputa”, which is famous for its seafood and soft-serve ice cream. It’s a super gourmet roadside station, but since I just had curry ramen, I decided to just stop by here . It’s a wonderful view. The sunsets seen here

Are also spectacular. Today, I’m worried about where to stop and what to do, so I’m just waiting. Only Apta. Now, Kabuji-san, where are we going to stay? I left the roadside station Apta and headed south again along Route 37. The view of the Pacific Ocean from a small hill is beautiful. This is

An area just before Oshamanbe that passes through a slightly elevated mountainous area along the coastline, and the view of the ocean from between the mountains and valleys is amazing. You can see Hakodate over there. It will be a wonderful view.

This route with Funka Bay on your left is the most scenic route as you can see the large curved shape of Hokkaido as it is . Yes, I have entered the town of Yakumo . Komagatake can be seen in front. The two distinctive peaks and rough mountain surface

Are dynamic. Yes, we are passing through the village of Ochibe. As I’ve talked about in past videos, this time I’m just running without really specifying my destination, and when I reach a campsite that looks nice, I’ll stay there. Oh, right now, Mt. Komagatake is getting bigger and bigger in front of us

. It seems like the knee injury in my left leg has healed, but the pain in my lower back still persists, and to be honest, I’m still enduring the pain as I ride.

We have received a lot of comments from viewers, such as expressing concern and saying that it would be better to go to the hospital and get medical treatment as soon as possible . I really appreciate your kind words. Although I think it would be better to see a doctor as

Soon as possible , I also have a strong desire to enjoy this finally available summer vacation to the fullest. Yes, you can see Onuma, a major tourist spot in southern Hokkaido, on your left . I thought about staying here, but I had camped here once before, so this time I

Decided to head to a campsite on a plateau that is reputed for its wonderful scenery. The setting sun is shining. feel well. I’m currently climbing the slope to Nekijihiki Plateau. This time, I arrived at a campsite in Kijihiki Highland, which I had always wanted to stay at least once . This

Campsite is famous for its view of Hakodate, which is one of the few places in Hokkaido where you can overlook a city. The time was 4:30. I’m glad it was before dark . Today’s mileage was 277km.

It’s been a while since I’ve driven more than 250km . A spectacular view awaits, Old Man Turnip. Yes, this is Kijihiki Kogen Campsite located in Hokuto City, just before Hakodate

. It’s on a hill, so it’s a wonderful view. Hokuto City is the city where Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, the terminal station of the Hokkaido Shinkansen, is located. The sun setting over the mountain ridge is beautiful. The best thing about this campsite

Is the view overlooking Hakodate City . Mt. Hakodate can be clearly seen in the middle. And to my surprise, today I can clearly see Oma on the Shimokita Peninsula at the tip of Honshu. Well, I was really lucky today. I’m looking forward to the night view tonight

. I will take care of myself today and sleep in the bungalow. This bungalow, which can sleep about 8 people, costs around 2,000 yen, so it’s cheap. Is this Peperoncino really Oicino? So I bought it

. And a cup of alcohol with macaroni salad. This is good, isn’t it? The snack was salmon cheese bought in Minamifurano . The city of Hakodate is gradually turning orange and it ‘s so beautiful. You can clearly see the Shimokita Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture.

The sun had already set over the ridge. This candle lantern has no practical use in terms of brightness , but when you light it, it makes you feel warm. I’ll have a cup . I’m using 250g of solid fuel tonight. I miss the flickering flame. The trick to this kind of

Camping food that you eat by pouring hot water is to mix it well after pouring it; if you don’t mix it well, it won’t taste delicious. Add hot water and while you wait, enjoy the combination of potato salad and tuna. This is delicious. I got stuck. This salmon cheese I bought in Minamifurano

Is also delicious. I think it’s just that it’s expensive. Yes, the peperoncino is ready. This was surprisingly Oicino. Tokap also advances. It goes well with pasta . And surprisingly, a full moon appeared from the ridge. It’s an amazing night view.

This has been a great night . The pure white full moon and the city of Hakodate illuminated by it, the best view. Nights at the campsite are in the mountains, in the forest, on the riverbed or by the river, and you

Can enjoy the surrounding nature. When I look up at the sky and see the twinkle of stars and feel the cosmos there, I feel like I’m in an extraordinary situation, but I can’t help but feel like I’m in an extraordinary place,

Looking down on this town from a campsite on a hill like this. This feeling of looking down on the glittering lights of the camp makes for a night of camping where you can experience something extraordinary that you have never felt before.

This was a new discovery. It’s a pretty nice camping night. There was a camper from Hakodate in the bungalow next door , and he said it was the first time he had seen such a beautiful view of the moon, Hakodate, and Aomori. I was lucky.

When you see the moon rising higher and higher into the sky like this , you really feel that the earth and moon are moving rapidly. I’m glad I chose this elevated campsite today. I’m going to bed praying that I’ll be able to see a wonderful view tomorrow morning . good night.
