【Glamping&Port 結(静岡県島田)】ホテル泊まり放題サブスク tsugi-tsugiで30連泊の旅!Vol.9

This time, it’s the 9th installment of the nationwide unlimited stay subscription Tsugi-Tsugi 30-night trip. This is a video of when I stayed at Glamping & Port Yui. What exactly is the glamping facility where you can stay in Tsugi-Tsugi?

At the end of the video, I also list the expenses I spent during my stay. Please watch till the end. On this channel, we upload useful information about hotels and living abroad. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, please do so. Check out Four Points By Sheraton Nagoya Chubu International Airport.

Next destination is Shimada Station, Shizuoka Prefecture, where Glamping & Port Yui is located. We will depart from the hotel at 10:45am and head from Chubu Centrair International Airport to Kanayama Station. Then, from Kanayama Station, transfer to the JR line.

This is my third time using the Seishun 18 Ticket to head to Shimada Station. We arrived at Shimada Station at 14:15. From here, take a bus to Glamping & Port Yui. The next bus leaves one hour later at 3:15 p.m.

I took advantage of the time I was waiting for the bus to buy some groceries for my stay at a supermarket near the station, and boarded the bus. The bus ran for about 40 minutes and arrived at the final stop, Honmura. Glamping & Port Yui is located 3 minutes walk from here.

When you enter the facility, you will see the school building on the left and tents of various shapes on the right. Now go to the front desk and check in. By the way, the main gate looks like this. The name of the elementary school before it closed still remains here.

As soon as you enter, you will see the bronze statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya on the right, which is often found in elementary schools. There is also a gymnasium behind it. It’s a facility that still has some traces of the elementary school, making it feel a little nostalgic.

The front desk is decorated with wooden panels similar to a gymnasium. This is the reception desk for accommodation. Here you can get amenities and rent loungewear. You can also purchase drinking water and make pool reservations at this reception.

The school song of Yuhi Elementary School, which was once open, was displayed above the reception desk. In addition, information about events held within the facility is written on the blackboard. You can also purchase fireworks to enjoy on the premises.

Tongs, scissors, chopsticks, forks and spoons, frying pans, trivets, and bowls can be carried freely to the tent. Cutting boards, aluminum foil, plates, bowls, and cups. You can also receive coffee, milk, sugar, etc. for free. There is also a microwave here. You can also purchase rice, fried noodles, and curry from vending machines.

There seems to be no problem at all even if you come to this facility empty-handed. You can also rent electric bikes at the entrance. It is also possible to cycle and sightsee around the area. This will be a dome-shaped tent. So let’s get into it right away. I’m now inside the tent.

This is what the tent looks like. It’s very spacious. And the air conditioner is working and it’s cool. There is also a stylish lamp on top. There is a shoe rack here, just below the door. These slippers are available for walking around the building.

You can put on your shoes or change into slippers while sitting here. The beds are twin, but each one is about the size of a double. I think they are planning to accommodate a large group of people. Two pillows are included, so two people can sleep on this bed.

One person can use one bed. Both pillows have the same feel, with a slightly firmer cushion. There’s a lamp. It’s quite bright inside this tent. This side has almost no windows. Since the outside is a passageway, this area is not visible from the outside. There’s a shelf here. I have a DeLonghi kettle.

This is helpful. Since I received coffee as an amenity, there is a pot that can be used to brew coffee as is. You can place small items in these places. The tissue case is also made of wood and matches the room very well. There’s a spare tissue below.

Let’s take a look and see if there are any amenities here. This is what you need outdoors. First of all, this one contained insect repellent spray. This one contains Febreze and deodorant. There are probably cockroaches and cockroaches, because it’s a place with a lot of nature.

This is an earth jet that kills mosquitoes and flies. Normal hotels don’t have these things. There are battery-operated mosquito repellent mats. This is a flashlight. You can use this light when it’s dark. Because this room doesn’t have a toilet. Since it is a tent, it is natural that there is no toilet.

It really does look like a hotel room, so it’s a bit of an illusion for a moment. But since it’s a tent, it’s natural that the toilet isn’t attached to the room. There are toilets at the front desk and also at the pool.

At that time, I think they will use the lights from earlier to illuminate the road at night. There’s nothing else on the shelf, so you can put something on it. There was no one else in the other tents on this side.

What you can see in front of us is our personal barbecue space. Use the space on the other side when eating or preparing meals. Here is a rope chair with cushions. There is a coffee table in the middle, so you can sit there and enjoy a cup of coffee while looking outside.

There are two of these chairs. There’s a sofa here. There is a sofa that can seat about 4 people. There is a slightly larger table. This is also a coffee table. The height of the table allows you to sit on the sofa and eat or drink coffee.

This is the air conditioner, and it’s working really well now. It’s pretty cool. There’s a light here. There is also a trash can. And there’s a refrigerator. Having a refrigerator in a tent is amazing. You can also buy ingredients and store them here. It’s much bigger than a hotel refrigerator.

This is a freezer. This will be your refrigerator. This is how you can fill it with water and the food you bought. If it were a hotel refrigerator, I don’t think it would hold all the ingredients for a barbecue. I think this size would be enough. There’s no closet here.

A rack is provided to hang these hangers. There are 4 hangers for jackets and 2 hangers for pants. Towels are provided below. They provide towels and water for you. Today’s bath towel, sports towel. Since we were staying for 2 nights, we received 4 toothbrushes, 2 per person.

If more is required, additional charges will apply. This is water and towels for tomorrow. Umbrellas are also prepared in this way. It’s not a hotel room so there’s no TV. You can connect to Wi-Fi, which is unique to tents that are trending right now. Let’s measure your internet speed. start.

Download speed is 52Mbps. It’s quite early. Upload speed is 41.3Mbps. This is fast enough. Earlier I explained what was inside this tent. Next, let’s see what’s outside the tent. There are chairs like this that allow you to relax in a cradle style.

This is a space where you can make a bonfire, and you can use it for a fee. This is the space to have a barbecue. A space for barbecues and meals. These lights make it bright even at night. These transparent curtains will protect you from the wind.

There is a large table in the middle with four wicker chairs. And there’s a wagon here. This is a gas grill. This is good. There is also a trash can where you can separate plastic bottles, cans, and bottles, so you don’t have to worry about throwing out trash.

It’s like looking out from my tent. There are various types of tents. There are also dome-shaped tents like ours and tents with pointed ends. The tents are a little far apart like this, so I hope it won’t be so noisy. At Drinkport, you can get free drinks from 5:00pm to 8:30pm.

Drinks are available at the cold drink corner, including Coca-Cola, ginger ale, Calpis, Calpis soda, and orange. We have orange squash, iced tea, and oolong tea. Hot drinks were currently being adjusted and were not available. You can also put ice in this machine, which is very helpful on hot days.

There’s also draft beer here. In the machine next to it, you can make your own chuhai. It’s just after 6pm now. They brought me dinner that I had reserved for 6pm. I’ll explain what’s included. Each person comes with one delicious-looking steak. Here are two bone-in steaks, they look delicious.

It also contains corn and large sausages. There are also shiitake mushrooms, corn, cabbage, and paprika in various colors. These are all barbecue ingredients. This is the salad. You can eat this as is. This is carpaccio, a combination of fish and salad. It doesn’t come with rice, but it comes with bread instead.

Comes with 3 slices of bread per person. There are 6 pieces in total. This is a dip for bread. The one in the iron frying pan, which is also heated as is, is ajillo. I’ll try heating it up later. This looks like a little candy.

Duckworth is a sweet that is eaten with tea. This pot contains cold tomato soup. Have this before meals. I’ve baked it now. First of all, I’m grilling a small bone steak like this. And sausage. This is Ahijo. This will take some time, so heat it up.

The barbecue sauce here went well with the steak and grilled vegetables, and it was very delicious. This is Ajillo. This was my first time eating this dish, and it was very delicious as it was piping hot and the olive oil and garlic matched the ingredients well. Steak, vegetables and salad. Bread and ajillo.

I also had sea bream carpaccio, so I was full. It’s just after 8pm now. This is how the lights are attached to the feet. There are toilets only in the school building and near the pool.

There is no toilet in the tent, so if you need to go to the toilet, you have no choice but to walk like this. I came to the playroom. Here is a table tennis table. And, following yesterday’s Sheraton, there was a pool table again. There is also a grand piano in the back.

On the other side, there are two dart targets. On this table is a game labeled Magnet. Another table also has a different game on it. Even if it rains, we can still play in this playroom. Since no one was there, I decided to play billiards.

My wife was playing billiards for the second time after yesterday, so she was a little skillful. It was a heated game and I had a lot of fun. I just came back from the bath. It’s about nightwear. It’s unisex, but it’s a 2 piece piece. The fabric is jersey material.

After all, this place used to be a school, so maybe that’s the concept. I played billiards a while ago, and I had fun wearing these pants. It’s stretchy so it’s very easy to move around.

It was open when I entered the room during the day, but now that I’m back in the room I was able to close it. It’s been a while since I’ve lived without a TV, but it’s nice to have no sound. You can sometimes hear the sound of bell beetles.

Isn’t it nice sometimes to spend time like this in a place that is truly rich in nature? So that’s it for today, good night. It’s been raining since this morning. I think it’s better than raining at a tourist spot.

Because I didn’t come to Glamping & Port to go sightseeing, I came to camp. I think it’s good because you can enjoy it inside the tent. It was raining in the morning, so I simply heated up some bread and croissants in a frying pan.

I also made some coffee and had breakfast with a banana. There is a pool at the end of this campsite. It’s just like the school pool. It is a 25m long 6-course pool. The pool is only available during the summer.

It was raining in the morning, but it might rain again, so I would like to go for a swim now. We will have lunch. While heating the edamame on the grill, stir-fry the chopped pork, bean sprouts, and yakisoba.

Now that we’ve had our fill, we head to the play room to get some exercise with a game of table tennis. It had been a while since we both played table tennis, but surprisingly the rally continued and it was a good exercise. After table tennis, there was a darts game.

My wife also enjoyed playing the grand piano, which she couldn’t play at all. Today’s dinner is fried rice. I also bought 6 boiled eggs, which I bought a bit too much, and some edamame.

I’ll check out tomorrow and have a long train ride to Nagano Prefecture, so I’ll use this boiled egg in a sandwich. We will cook it for you. Dinner was also delicious. I’m at the gym now. It’s late, it’s already before 9pm, so no one is using it.

There is also a grand piano in the gymnasium. There was also a piano in the playroom, so this is my second one. There is also a ball area for children to play. There are two basketball goals like this.

And my wife plays balance balls over there, and there are three or four of them. Apparently you can play soccer, too, and there is a futsal goal. There is also a volleyball net here. We also have volleyball, basketball, and badminton. It seems that you can play with various balls like this.

This time I was with a large group, so I didn’t have a chance to play in the gymnasium. You can play like this. It’s 7:20am, and it’s morning. Check out today. Finally, I would like to share some thoughts. The staff really keep the rooms clean.

The underside of the beds, sofas, and tables are also thoroughly cleaned. I lived in a tent, but it was very comfortable. All the staff are really friendly. The restrooms are also very clean, and I feel like they are very well kept. I thought it was a wonderful facility.

My only regret is that this is not about the staff, but about the customers. This time I stayed for 2 nights. On the first night, there was no one in the tent next to me.

The tent on the other side of that building, I think it was more than 10 meters away, had guests staying there. There were 3 to 4 young women of university age staying there. I could hear noises from 2am to 3am.

When it got quiet and I thought I could finally sleep, at 3 a.m., I found myself snoring loudly. Someone was snoring loudly. This time the snoring was so loud that I think the other women were probably noisy too.

The next day, when the women checked out, a large group of young male students came in. I entered a relatively close tent. What happened is as you can imagine. It was very noisy. It was worse than the first day.

Because as soon as they came in, everyone in the tent started singing in unison. I wondered why everyone was singing together, and I thought we should just go to karaoke.

It was really loud, and I don’t know if there were about 6 or 7 people, but they all sang the same song at the same time. I’m not sure if he’s trying to appeal to the girls in the tent next to him or what he’s trying to do.

But it was evening and I was young, so I thought it would be better if it would be quiet at night, but it was really bad at night. When we met in the bath, they made a lot of noise both in the bath and in the sauna.

She would leave the bathroom window open and go somewhere else, or sing or talk loudly. It was terrible even when I was in the bath. It was an excessive amount of noise. After that, the tent was quiet for a while.

You can play billiards, table tennis, darts, etc. in the playroom until 11pm, so I guess he was there. I thought it would be nice to be quiet, but I ended up coming back after 11 o’clock. As expected, it started again, singing loudly and in unison. We sang until about 12am.

I thought this was really bad. I was planning to check out early this morning, so I went to the front desk to tell them. I asked him to please do something.

The person at the front desk also told me that it seemed like there was a student group, so they had to be careful even in the evening. So a staff member went to speak to me and the singing stopped for a while. Good, I thought, now I can sleep.

But after a while, as expected, it started singing again, but it was noisy. My wife said she couldn’t sleep until about 3am. This is the only thing I really regret. The facilities and staff are wonderful, and the service is also good. However, if a loud group comes in, it will be ruined.

I also saw the reviews on Google. After all, there were several reviews saying that they couldn’t sleep because of the noisy guests next to them. So I don’t think it’s just me. I think there are also quite a few people who are holding back. So don’t just tell the staff and warn them.

If they don’t listen when I tell them in the evening, I’ll give them a warning like a yellow card or a red card. If you get too many warnings, you won’t be immediately sent off. I will no longer be able to use this facility in the future. No entry allowed.

I also have them write a written pledge stating that they will be asked to leave the facility if they are warned for the first or second time. Otherwise, it would be a real nuisance for guests who want a good night’s sleep, which is normal.

I would like to see such facilities and systems created so that these adults can enjoy camping as well. It was a little disappointing because the facilities are wonderful and the staff are wonderful. I don’t know if I’ll stay here in the future, but we’re both really sleep deprived.

I hope this will be improved in the future. After checking out, I will head to Nagano Prefecture. That’s all from this room. Excuse me. After this, we will head to our next destination, Nagano Tokyu REI Hotel, located in front of Nagano Station.

I’m really looking forward to Nagano Prefecture as there are many tourist spots I want to visit. Tsugi-Tsugi’s journey continues.
