Unfortunately, in my home country, only compulsory insurance is used by most people. These are motor vehicle liability insurance and social insurance. Now and then we need a vacation. It is important to have a balanced life. As well as working, people have to enjoy life and spend time with families and friends. I think the Germans are lucky because there are many vacations and public holidays here in Germany.

During my time here, I took a couple of family vacations. We spent 3 days camping at Lake Sankt Wolfgang in Austria. We went on a 4 day vacation to Mallorca. We were also in Paris for 3 days. I like going to the beach because it’s a good vacation spot for smaller children too.

Different means of payment are common in Germany. You can pay with cash anywhere. If you have an account with a bank, you will get an EC card and often a credit card as well. In some supermarkets and department stores you can pay with your credit card.
